Should anyone doubt that school and show business often go together, they need only watch a sampling of recent performances by Prince George's students. At Indian Queen ES, students dressed and sang and danced as people from other lands in the school's first Community International Day. At Carmody Hills ES, the focus was on aspiring film directors as youngsters produced their own video presentations. And at Eleanor Roosevelt HS, hundreds of top young elementary school scientists showed up for the annual Kids for Science awards ceremony where the children's splashy backboards and careful experimentation resulted in exciting prizes.
