ASIA'S NEXT TOP MODEL CYCLE 1 Final Photos The chosen fourteen girls were met by host Nadya Hutagalung at a high-end shopping district along Orchard Road in Singapore where she introduced the cycle's judging panel. Nadya then revealed that the girls would immediately get the competition started with a runway challenge. Some of the girls struggled with their outfit and walk, but ultimately it was Trang that was declared the winner, winning a $5000 shopping spree from Wisma Atria for a new wardrobe. After the challenge, the girls then move to their new house where they start to choose rooms and settle down. The next day, the girls were brought to Little India for their first photo shoot where they were greeted by judge Daniel Boey along with designers Afton Chen and Louis Koh from Reckless Ericka. The girls were then ecstatic upon finding out that judge Todd Anthony Tyler would be their photographer for the shoot. They were then asked to model clothes from Reckless Ericka while working a prop and being quirky. While Stephanie, Rachel, Jessica, and Helena impressed Tyler, most of the girls struggled to be quirky while working their prop. After the shoot, Trang goes on a shopping spree as her prize from the challenge. Upon returning back to the house, she brings presents for all the girls, to everyone's delight. At panel, most of the girls received negative feedback from their shots. Stephanie, Rachel, and Helena impressed the judges for embracing the point of the shoot ...

I like to use twists instead, because they are faster to do. If you were to do cornrows, this hairstyle could be used for a week or so. Since my girls are totally loving pancake braids {braids that are flattened by tugging the elbows of the braids}, it was easy to convince them to try it... This hairstyle uses the same Dutch braid pancaked technique we used here... youtu.be I did not pancake the Dutch portion of the braid, because this daughter has a little shorter hair and I needed the length for the flower. My daughter wore this all day today, and received so many compliments! You can use the braided flower bun by itself, or in any number of combinations. This hairstyle is perfect for weddings, formal occasions, flower girls, prom, homecoming, etc! Enjoy! This example uses a French Braid Headband as the base before creating the bows. You can learn how to do the base for this hairstyle, the French Front here... youtu.be In this tutorial, I only had four bows, but you can actually do more if you would like. I just like how the bows are only on one side, more like an accent. I receive comments all the time when I wear this hairstyle! A friend of mine, Kori at {www.youtube.com was the first to come up with this waterfall braid cheat and we wanted to share it with you as well! Items Needed: Brush or rat-tail comb, 1 bobby pin, hairspray {if desired}. Time Requirement: 5 minutes Steps: 1. Start on front right of the head and section out a large strand of hair that can be your base for the twist around the head. 2. Divide this strand in two equal pieces and twist them around each other once. 3. Take a new selected strand of hair and place it between your twisting strands, so that it literally falls through. 4. Twist the two original strands once more. 5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 all the way around the back of the head and towards the top of the left ear. 6. When you finish your last twist, grab a bobby pin and secure the end of the twist above the ear, making sure to hide the bobby pin as ...

It is super easy to do, and uses the basic French Braiding technique with a small twist to the stranding. When you are done with the braid, you simply grab the center part of the braid about two inches down and pull it up on top of the ponytail and the whole braid literally "pops" out into this super cute 3D braid! It is called a cage braid because the braid effect looks like a ribcage. This would be a perfect Halloween hairstyle with heart bobby pin stuck in the right side of the cage... or a fun Christmas hairstyle because the braid could be decorated as a tree! Enjoy!

Many of you have already seen our tutorial for "No-Heat Headband Curls here... www.youtube.com Instead of using a headband on this one, we used simple socks! This is super easy to do, and the curls last a long time. I also like pin curls or rag/paper bag curls but they can take up to 20-30 minutes or more to put in. This takes literally 2 minutes to put in, and you can style the hairdo the next day in any number of combinations! I tied in the socks lower, because we are totally into the low curls lately... but you could roll them all the way up for more volumous curls up top. It is key to make sure that the hair is slightly damp {not wet} anytime you want no-heat curls. If the hair is too wet, it will not hold the curl as well. Aren't these ho-heat curl hairstyles so fun? We apologize as fishtail braiding takes a long time to do. We used larger strands that we normally would in order to show you how it is done, without taking 10+ minutes. Some variations use a ponytail on top from which you pull strands into the crown braid. I do not particularly like that version as it leave a hole on the top of the head, and a bump as well. The Crown Braid uses the Dutch Braiding technique, but you pull the hair in on top only from the front. This is what makes the style look so clean, and allows for the braid to pop out. This style is perfect for formal occasions, prom, homecoming, graduation, baptism, communion, weddings, etc. It is particularly great for cheer, gymnastics, ballet, and other sports. Enjoy! ENJOY!!! =D Miranda Kerr has weighed into the controversy over the Australian banker in hot water for looking at nude photos of her on the internet. The model has offered to help worker David Kiely save his job after he was shown in a live television cross admiring her form, the Herald Sun reports. She told reporters that she hoped Mr Kiely's employers would be lenient. "I am told there is a petition to save his job and of course I would sign it," Kerr said. Mr Kiely's indiscretions were beamed around the world when he was captured opening pictures of Kerr while behind him a colleague, Martin Lakos, did a live television cross. Facebook groups have been set up to support Mr Kiely, who is yet to discover if he has lost his job.

This hairdo requires a one-sided French Braid from the front of the head ... all the way back around to the back of the head, and into a side ponytail. Braiding only "half" (or one side) of the French Braid allows the braid to pop out. Enjoy!
