In preparation for the new film Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue, Pixie Hollow at Disneyland has received new decorations to tie in with the summer theme of the film. Also new at Pixie Hollow is Tinker Bell's "best friend" Vidia, who will play a much greater roll in the new movie. Filmed on August 29th, 2010.
"Vidia," one of the stars of the upcoming movie "Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue," is the newest fairy to become a "resident" of Pixie Hollow at the Magic Kingdom park. Guests can meet Vidia and her pixie pals -- including the world's most beloved fairy, Tinker Bell -- inside Pixie Hollow at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida. Vidia, who is known as the fastest-flying fairy there is, began making meet-and-greet appearances for guests Aug. 26, 2010 at the Magic Kingdom park. Katy paid another visit to Pixie Hollow on January 31, 2010 and met her favorite Fawn. This particular Fawn has taken on the nickname "Giggles" because of her cute laugh. If there's anyone from Disney Management reading this, we'd like to let you know that this young lady is an exceptional employee and has the best attitude and personality. She is so friendly and enthusiastic. Give her a raise! She deserves it! Like Fawn, Terrence II also remembered Katy from a previous visit. And tinkerbell VI was really nice, too. I think this was the first time Katy had visited this particular tinkerbell.

We are mad at Pixie Hollow, and the American Girl Dolls, star in a revengeful movie. WE REALLY DON'T WANT to get revenge at pixie hollow. Katy made another trip to Pixie Hollow and visited Fawn IV (who has the nickname "Giggles" given from another frequent visitor) and TinkerBell V . Pixie Hollow opened on October 28th, 2008 where Ariels Grotto used to be in Disneyland Park. As part of the Summer Nightastic! promotion at Disneyland this Summer, the different Fairy Guilds were asked by Disneyland if they could put on a show for us at night. And, boy do they ever! The show is every 15 minutes, every night. But, it's not necessarily on the quarter hour mark. The show is also accompanied by Pixie Hollow's finest musicians!
