Pokéthlon is a new game feature introduced in Pokémon Heart Gold & Pokémon Soul Silver. In the west of the National Park in Johto is the Pokéthlon Dome. This Dome is where a whole new Pokémon contest stands. However, the Pokéthlon is much different to the contests of Hoenn & Sinnoh. The Pokéthlon provides a variety of different games and events for the Pokémon to take part in. You always enter with three Pokémon. If you win the activity, you will get "Suron Points" which you can then exchange for prizes. To enter in the Pokéthlon, you have to select three Pokémon. The Pokémon you select should reflect the option you chose. As such, the Pokémon have specific stats for each of the categories. You can improve these stats through shaking Apricorns, but the maximum stats do depend on the Pokémon that you are entering. For each event you play, you earn a variety of points. After the round of three, you get given the points you have earned, plus 100 points if you came in first. You can then spend these points on cards to keep your records or on a variety of special and rare items.
Yes I preordered both Pokemon Heart Gold and Pokemon Soul Silver. Each game cost 59.90 USD on Play-Asia. I paid 136.70 USD for both of them, I chose Fedex and used a coupon :P. Yes I can read some Japanese. In the box you get: Game Case holding the game Pokewalker Extra Black casing for the Pokewalker Pokewalker instructions In the case, you get: The game Game Booklet Wi-Fi booklet Instructions on how to charge your DS Info on Pokemon Wiiware and the 2010 Championships Extra Pokemon products Nintendo wants you to get lol The game cart is a darker shade of gray because of the infra-red usage. The Pokewalker can connect to other Pokewalkers/HGSS game within a 5 cm radius. The Pokewalker is a pedometer that allows you to send a Pokemon and let them gain experience points and happiness. You send the Pokemon to the Pokewalker via infrared and select a course you want them to go through. While on the course, your Pokemon may encounter another Pokemon and battle it! You can also catch the Pokemon if you desire. With the use of the itemfinder app on the Pokewalker, you can also find items in the course. You will earn more courses after achieving certain goals. I'll put more info later. ***Note*** For those of you who saw my R4DS clone, I bought the games for a reason. These are my last Pokemon games. I encourage you to not pirate any games if you own a flashcart. Besides, flashcarts were made to have a backup game of a DS game you own. No piracy please. Support the guys who made ...
My Japanese copy of Pokémon soulsilver arrived in the mail today! I'm so excited to begin playing it. I ordered it from Japan Video Games. The delay was because JVG ran out of copies and had to get a second shipment. This video is available in HD. LIVE SOULSILVER BROADCAST THIS WEEKEND!! SATURDAY AT 10:00 AM PACIFIC. ustream.tv In this video, I show off opening the UPS package and taking everything out. Inside is my copy of Pokémon soulsilver and the Lugia figure (which I forgot to open). In the actual box is the game (which itself is in a standard DS box), the pokéwalker, and pokéwalker instructions. The cartridge, unlike the DPP ones, is not shiny. Check out my site: floatzel.net Pokémon soulsilver videos and walkthrough will be added to my site as I upload them. After getting all 16 badges you'll have to talk to Professor Oak. He will then give you permission to enter Mt. Silver. At the end of Mt. Silver you'll face the strongest trainer, Red. All his pokemon are above level 80 and I had quite a hard time taking him down. Also his Espeon has been changed to a Lapras EDIT: So people would stop asking. YES you can battle him again just beat the elite four again and Red will reappear and NO his team doesn't change it will always be the same.Notes: I'll be recording a bunch of videos of various parts of the game. I am playing Soul Silver and I also wanted to test this new recording method. Character name is Koton (suppose to be Kotone but Japanese has a five character limit on name) Before Commenting: I will end up trading early to get better pokemon. If you see something that isn't normal during gameplay it is probably traded. This includes having Togekiss and Weavile, and TM moves all my pokemons. This is only for demonstration purposes so don't go "OMG YOU CHEATER ST00PD!!" or "UBER USER" or whatever.
Going through Whitney's gym and battling Whitney.
(Latios & Groudon are exclusives of Soul Silver, Latias & Kyogre are exclusives of Heart Gold) When you have obtained the National Pokédex and have exited the Pokémon Fan Club in Vermillion City with the Copycat girl`s doll, Steven Stone of Hoenn will come and tell you that Latios/Latias has begun roaming the land of Kanto. ***You can also battle Latias in Soul Silver & Latios in Heart Gold downloading the Enigma Crystal via wifi Event, you can take the Enigma Crystal to the Pewter City Museum. When there, you will meet Steven Stone and he will tell you about the Enigma Crystal, give it to the attendant and it is found to be the legendary Soul Dew item. Once you receive the item and leave the Museum, Steven will stop you and tell you that Latios or Latias (depending on your game) have arrived angrily. They will sit in Pewter City and you can challenge them. They are at Level 40.*** For Groudon/Kyogre, you need to obtain the Blue Orb if in Heart Gold or the Red Orb if in Soul Silver. These orbs are found from Mr. Pokémon after you have obtained the National Dex and received the Kanto starters from Professor Oak. With these orbs in hand, you need to head to a cave in Route 47, the Hidden Tower. Traverse the cave and you will find Kyogre if you're playing Heart Gold or Groudon if you are playing Soul Silver. Rayquaza is a legendary Pokémon whom you'll have the most trouble getting. To get Rayquaza, you have to take the Green Orb to the same cave you obtained Kyogre or ...
