This is the unit in operation. Pay attention on the Input to output ratio: The 15A scale is as is, the black one is in 5A range meaning that the "3" equals 1.5A and the PSU is limiting to ~2A. The input to output sees to be about: 1.75A in : 3.75A out The PV panel of 45W would give 2A at most (peak 2.45A) and the battery wouldn't be "lifted" higher than 14V (maybe after full charge) This way it gives hard kicks that "seem to matter" more than 2A DC would. The actual kicks are over way before the tip reaches the 3A mark on the scale. In fact i believe the actual kick is over before the tip is past the 1A mark? And i have reason to believe the peak of the kick is a multiply of 3A rather than otherwise? And I still do not speak on my clips (yet) :)
