Opening three songs of the Feb 5, 1981 Eric Moore Band Concert at the Agora in Columbus, Ohio. Songs: White Line, Come Back Baby and Get Some Real Lovin'. The was part of the QFM96 Hometown album series. Early on, Eric says "We're gonna start 1980 off right", but it was actually 1981. Though not in this set, the show actually kicked off with a recording of the national anthem. Carter was out, and America was swingin' to the right.

Odd Section - The Heavenly Kid This song was written by Frank Pierce and Dan Greene. The Columbus, Ohio teen band, Odd Section recorded this track at Amerisound Studios in Columbus, Ohio in 1985. This song was written for the movie The Heavenly Kid. Unfortunately, although it was considered, it was not chosen. Kicked off by Garrett Lane's blistering guitar solo, this is one of the first live performances of the future Godz classic "We're All Crazy", performed in the spirit of the all-time epic boogie rap "Gotta Keep a Runnin." This concert was part of the Hometown Album Concert series to promote local talent. This band features Garrett Lane, only 19, on lead guitar and local legend Ray Fuller playing a mean blues guitar.

Ronald Koal interviewed on QFM96 in Columbus in 1986. This is the radio debut of "Men With Guns" from his self-titled cassette EP. Ronald Koal was a talented Columbus musician who took his own life in 1993.
QFM 96 of Columbus, Ohio had a "Solute to Homegrown Talent" in 1977. We sent in our original song "Goodbye So Long" and the DJ called with questions. Afterward, he played our song with the details and nice compliments. We recorded some of the song in the back room of my mobile home. The DJ thought I said "on the back of a trailer" but no big deal. We were surprised that he played our recording when all the rest of the homegrown talent submitters went to actual studios to record. We think the DJ's name was Tom Tuber. Chuck Brady sings lead with harmony from Steve Green and Jack Zerrien.
