Peer-to-peer (P2P) technologies are nothing new, but AllJoyn is aiming to change the way we think about connecting and syncing devices. Qualcomm's booth at Mobile World Congress 2011 was home to AllJoyn. The company demonstrated the AllJoyn framework's ability to sync and connect multiple handsets using JavaScript and a website - no Bluetooth or WiFi required. They also showed off a handset playing a real-time game with another phone and a Windows laptop.

We get to spend a little time with the Snapdragon dual-core developer phone at CES 2011, and it's impressive. The dual-core snapdragon can do 3D video decoding and encoding, full 1080p HD resolution via HDMI-out, mirror mode, and has asynchronous core clocking. We can't wait to see this stuff hit market!
