RIVER LEVEL CURRENT has no followers yet. Be the first one to follow.
Eagle Pass Texas Rio Grand River Flooded. This is hte first video I took today, july 7th, 2010 of the Overly Grown Rio Grand, El Rio Bravo. For a Reason they call it BRAVO, tough, out to kill. So much for the Alligators/Crocs in the River, think they were just swept away by the current. As you can see, the Water has resided, first time I heard it had flooded was on July 4th. The fireworks events was moved, not sure if to the civic center or just to the other side of International Bridge 1, by the golf court. Again, this is FOOTAGE of what is left as of today. You can see to the right, the lower level FleaMarket was prolly completely in water, as appose to where we are filming from, the Higher level part of the flea market seemed to only be partially in water. You can see where the demarkation lines of where the water arose to. If you pay attention to the BRIDGE, you can see the FLAGS printed on its support, the river covered all that so it was just a couple of feet from actually levelling side by side to the actual platform.
Visit: gallery.usgs.gov for more information. This video describes research being conducted by Dr. Karen McKee, USGS Research Ecologist, and her university partner, Dr. Julia Cherry. Their goal is to better understand the effects of sea-level rise and other global change factors on coastal wetlands in the Mississippi River Delta. This region contains over 40% of the US wetlands in the lower 48 states These wetlands support commercial fisheries, provide habitat for waterfowl and wildlife, and act as storm buffers, protecting several important ports and cities such as New Orleans McKee and Cherry are conducting field and greenhouse experiments to quantify how plant productivity contributes organic matter to vertical soil building, which helps to counterbalance sea-level rise. They are also investigating how elevated concentrations of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere may stimulate plant production and help marshes build vertically and avoid submergence. Their research is contributing to a better understanding of how coastal wetlands persist in the face of changing sea levels and how they may respond in the future.

The idol worship of the past age ends as the beginning of the Golden Age arrives. The division increases this day as you are aware of the 11. The focus of time that has presented you with security and comfort now brings change and chaos. In your experience of time you have always thought of it as a linear event where you begin as a young being with no past and no future. Then as you progress your mind seeks answers to the major questions of your culture. In this process as awakening begins to occur and then is stopped then awakens more and then is diverted and then becomes a compulsion where you cannot escape the examination of your life and the world around you. This is the same for everyone whether they speak the words or not. They seek meaning and truth as do you. Time is the great changer and it calls you to become more each day and each night. It calls you to become that which you have asked for. It is the energy of time that is the current of the illusion and the current of change. It is built with love and flows eternally on a long and easy path that has many directions in a wide river that flows stronger as you grow under its dominion. The truth that you seek is to know consciousness and time. Then you will know yourself and be able to communicate with the others. The world around is a loving place that wishes for your happiness. Your happiness is assured when you flow with the river of love. Emotions are that which you experience in many levels and vibrations but ...

While nations around the Mekong meet in Thailand to discuss the drying up of the river, China insists the current problems emanate from an act of nature. Millions of dollars worth of Chinese cargo are stranded in barges along the Mekong, due to the low water levels. Chinese dams along the Mekong have been blamed for disrupting the water supply, but the Chinese foreign ministry blames drought for water scarcity in the Mekong region. China has built, or is planning to build, eight dams along the river. The Southeast Asian countries that blame Chinese construction have eleven dams of their own. Al Jazeera's Melissa Chan reports from Yunnan province in China.

This was taken where the river hits the cove, at Pawtuxet Village. Flooding at this exact location would be more about storm surge and tides than the river level. Still, you can sense the throughput -- the current is furious.

The Hudson River Foundation hosted a seminar on Monday, March 15, 2010, concerning Phase 1 of remedial dredging of the Hudson River PCBs SuperFund Site. Mr. Walter Mugdan, Director of the Emergency and Remedial Response Division at the Region 2 office of the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) presented a summary of the Phase 1 dredging operation, completed by the General Electric Company in October 2009, and EPAs findings to date. The upriver PCB issue is critically linked to past, present, and future conditions of the New York/New Jersey Harbor Estuary. For example, the Contamination Assessment and Reduction Project (CARP) found that the Upper Hudson River PCBs Superfund Site is the dominant external source of PCBs to the Harbor Estuary. Additionally, through modeling, CARP concluded that if PCB loadings continue at current levels, sediments in most of the Harbor Estuary are likely to remain contaminated (by dredged material ocean disposal standards) even three decades from now. This seminar provided important information about progress and decisions being made now that will impact future conditions in the Harbor Estuary
The warm and mild weather of the past week has melted much of the snow throughout Wisconsin. The Wisconsin River is at a good level with a nice current which will make fish move to shallower water out of the current. This is a good time for waders to cast stick baits, hair jigs, and jigs/plstics. The water temperature is in the upper 3o's. The forecast for next week is more mild weather which should continue to improve walleye and sauger fishing. Use a slow presentation in whatever way you fish. The next week should bring some good fishing to3-14-2010
You get to the river and find conditions are not as you expected, the wind is full in your face. If there are fish rising, don't turn round and fish the wet fly. Chances are you will do poorly, as you will not present your fly properly due to drag caused by the the wind going with the current. Downstream wet or dry fly in a downstream wind can be even more difficult in these conditions. Better to face the challenge of the wind in your face and fish your fly into the wind. This clip shows how the forward power stroke is set at a steeper angle than normal, then adjusts on delivery to a shallower delivery angle. The wind helps to load the rod on the back cast as you drive the line back rapidly aided by the wind. Making a tight forward wind cheating loop, aided by a little left hand line haul follows on relatively easily. Keep the back cast high and adjust the angle of the cast by lowering your casting arm slightly on delivery so that the forward cast develops just above the water. The wind is always less strong just above the surface of the water. The wave action and friction created on the wind/water boundary layer - where wind meets water breaks down the wind density at water level, allowing you to deliver your fly with authority into the wind. A bridge was being built in Catbalogan, Samar, Philippines in the summer of 2000. A cofferdam had been constructed. Heavy rains raised the level of the river. As the strong current diverted around the cofferdam, a great deal of soil was eaten away from the riverbank. Several homes toppled into the river. The cofferdam also collapsed. I was told that everyone safely made it out of their homes.

Programme: Earth Report investigates the impact that development has had on the environment and explores what is being done to protect our planet. Contributor: Senator Tuenjai Deetes. Broadcaster: BBC World Episode Summary: Environmental campaigners make it their business to be a thorn-in-the-side of governments. So what makes an environmental activist, go into politics? In this edition of Earth Report we look at environmental activists who crossed the divide to become leading politicians. They've also won international recognition through awards from the UN and the Goldman Environmental Prize. NOTE: Audio suffered after compression. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Transcript: Meddling with the Mekong "I am Tuenjai Deetes, the Senator of Chiang Rai Province in the Northern part of Thailand. I come to the Mekong district to attend a public meeting of the Mekong Navigation Channel Improvement Project." Over 60 million people in southeast Asia depend on the Mekong river for food, water and transport. But their river is under threat. The Mekong is the world's twelth longest river. It runs 4800 kilometres from its headwaters on the Tibetan Plateau through Yunnan Province of China, Burma, Thailand, Cambodia, Lao PDR and Vietnam. China is building a series of large dams on its section of the river. Two have been completed, a third is under construction and more are planned. The Chinese dams were built without consultation with their ...
Organizers with 350.org and TckTckTck take action in Dar Es Salaam on October 24. Many thanks to Marc Wegerif for this film! Read on for Marc's description of the day: "After recovering from the cycle ride it was time to head to Coco Beach. It was still intermittently pouring, which along with the dark clouds made it one of the worst beach days of the year for Dar es Salaam. Despite this activists arrived to make a giant 350 in the sand. A group of children came with messages they had written on sheets of card and shared these with us and others on the beach. A few days ago when we checked the site we had found a clean beach of golden sand, but today it was covered in seaweed and litter. Clearly the currents had changed and brought the rubbish onto the beach. The rain had also washed the rubbish in the drains and river beds of the city into the sea. The local environment issues brought home to us by the lines of plastic bags, empty bottles and other litter. We started marking out the 350 in the sand, picking up the litter and then building the numbers mostly with our bare hands, many hands making it easy work. The seaweed came in handy for the finishing touches. It was decided to build a graph of the carbon levels from the pre industrial revolution level of 280 up to the current level of 390 with the critical target level of 350 in the middle. We talked people including journalists through this graph explaining the causes of climate change and what now needs to be done ...
Climb onboard for this magnificent boatride through the world`s strongest tidal current, Saltstraumen. A journey through stunning nighttime scenery found nowhere else on earth! Director: Per Tomas Govertsen About Saltstraumen: Saltstraumen (which means Salt Current) is created when the tide fills or empties the Skjerstad fjord. The height difference of the sea surface can be as much as 1 meter between the inside and the outside of the narrow passage. In an attempt to level out the two sides, the water increases speed and turns into something that looks like a very strong river. However this "river" has a twist, it runs both ways. Within a time frame of 6 hours a massive 372 million cubic meters of sea water passes through a 150 meter wide and 31 meter deep passage. The speed of the stream is estimated to be up to 22 knots or 40 km per hour, and it is about 3 km long. Huge whirlpools are formed , sometimes they can be as much as 10 to 15 meters in diameter. www.tuvsjyen.com
Using soft plastics now and topwaters due to the low fall river levels on the Vermillion River Big dam. I just had to try this black lizard and wasnt sure how the smallmouth would react but it was working good. I caught this 3 pounder and a 2 pound smally this day but no larges. Shallow diver bandit tennesee shad was the taker too with just 2 large split shot and crossing the current in front of the dam. I was using 12 pound test big game by Berkley. I lost a good 4 or 5 pound smallmouth the biggest I ever caught here but when I tried to haul it up the dam with out jumping down to the bottom and lippinbg it was a big mistake. So to all you that fish this dam be sure if you can jump down there and get it or you will lose it. Also remember there is a huge smallmouth down there now that you could catch weighing about 5 pounds. Fall fishing now is the best times coming up and the big ones are feeding. My favorite time of year.
Sept 20, 2009 Tom called me and wanted to go to the Waterfall. I told him it was raining, so we went anyway. 1st we went up a creek, more or less through the woods. When I tried to film and turn around at the same time the current tried to sweep me into a bush, or was it a tree? So me filming there was out. Tom had his Helmet cam though and got some cool stuff, though it a tad dark. This is a result of over a week of rain in the Atlanta area, and North Georgia. Much or the area is flooded, and our Lake is over 5 foot above full pool. I575 was even closed today, not too far from where this was filmed. This was filmed the day before the lake level shot up to its current, more or less overfilled stage-flooded!
Division of Fish and Wildlife biologist Shawn Crouse, along with seasonal workers, are electrofishing a small tributary to the South Branch of the Raritan River near Budd Lake to identify and measure fish. The technique uses a backpack battery unit and hand held probe to deliver electrical current into the water. Fish near the probe will feel the electrical shock and temporarily lose muscle control. Workers with nets can then collect the fish more easily for the study before they are returned to the water. The species being targeted are trout since they are an excellent indicator of the health and condition of a stream. The presence of reproducing trout may determine the level of protection the surrounding land will receive from the Department of Environmental Protection. (Video by Andre Malok/The Star-Ledger)
Just a testvideo with loads of saves to show this new route to those who are interested. I won't run this level, as the current run is extremely fast and even if my route without savegames would be faster I just can't do it, as there are two jump which are extremely hard... The bananajump in the end isn't needed in my oppinion, as it should be possible to get to this entrance from the ledge at 2:00
The scenes depict the current condition of the Efrin River in Northern Syria. The level of neglect and pollution may not have reached catastrophic proportions yet, but, a couple of decades ago, the famed river Barada in Damascus appeared in a similar condition, and was still capable of flooding even. Today, and as the stills at the end of the report indicate, it is virtually nonexistent. Syrian authorities continue to be notoriously unconcerned with the country's increasing environmental problems. In fact, government policies often contribute to making things even worse, as underlined by their plans to allow for the construction of four new olive oil distilleries on the banks of the Efrin river.
This is the "Gold" build for our game, Igneous. It's our last deliverable for our current class, but we plan on continuing on it for the next 5 months. The player takes the role of a Tiki Totem who awakes inside a volcano and must escape before he is melted down by the evil lava. For the most part, the game is an action platformer with a heavy emphasis on physics based game-play. We planned to have three total levels for this build, but since time was short, we decided to scrap our second level (think white river rapids but with lava) and bring some of those elements into the first level (flowing lava with buoyant objects). Overall I'm really happy with how the game as turned out. We've always tried to keep the game as simple as possible (this is the third major iteration of the game) and as fun as possible. The only unfortunate thing is that this game is way less fun when using the keyboard / mouse to play, so definitely play it with an Xbox controller =D. No third-party APIs were used in the making of this game except FMOD for sound, we build all of our engines from scratch. Team Members: Will Graham - Technical Director Chris Howard - Graphics Director Cameron Jacobson - Physics Director Ben Gable - Producer This build will be available soon on DigiPen's website (I might just post the installer in a few days, they can be slow).
Fargo backyard flood report from Fairway Road - 3/30/09 at 10am. Temps around 30 degrees. River level is 39.1 feet, having dropped about 1.5 feet from its crest. Winter storm warning in the forecast for tonight/tomorrow with 4-8 inches of snow expected and high winds. This, with the snow already on the ground, will create a 2nd crest when it warms up. Hopefully most of the current water in the system will be downstream by then.
Backyard flood report 3/27/09 - Fairway Road in North Fargo. Current River level 40.5 feet. Previous all time record 40.2 in 1897. Predicted crest is now 41.5 feet sometime tomorrow. Remaining height on our dike about 2 feet. Temps in the low 20s have slowed the rise of the river. Furniture was relocated from our basement yesterday.

This is my WIP map I want to make a map which is unrealistic, but at the same time - realistic. The best example for that is bridge at the top of the mountain. Whitewater rafting -- Middle Fork of the American River--portage. The leap of faith is a sketchy dive across the current into an eddy to get to a boat that is stuck. Viewed from above, then viewed from river level, climbing up a large rock and then jumping 20 feet into the river below.
Recently featured on CNN-Korea, the R2V2 ("River Robot for Velocity and Volume") is a remote control boat for monitoring water depth, velocity and flow in rivers, reservoirs and coastal zones. As shown here during recent flood events in the United Kindgom, the R2V2 is deployed using a real-time data acquisition system - the Sontek Doppler Sensor(Mini-ADP). The R2V2 can also be equiped with YSI water quality sensors. This Available through DATAPCS (ktlee@datapcs.co.kr)
(Courtesy of SEQWater and Channel 7 News) Wivenhoe Dam (Lake Wivenhoe) is located on the Brisbane River in Esk Shire. Storage capacity for water supply (full supply level) is 1165000 megalitres, with a further capacity of 1450000 megalitres above full supply level (flood storage), for the temporary storage of flood waters. Wivenhoe Dam is an earth and rock fill dam, with a centrally located, steel radial gated, concrete spillway. Lake Wivenhoe, which is the body of water formed by the dam, is also the lower storage for a 500-megawatt hydro-electric power station, owned by Tarong Energy Corporation. A mini hydro- electric generating plant was constructed by Stanwell Corporation on the outlet works of the dam during 2002. Water is released from Wivenhoe Dam into Brisbane River and is extracted at the Mt Crosby Water Treatment Plant operated by Brisbane Water. This treated water is supplied to the greater Brisbane area.

Our first time tubing at Cache Creek on Aug. 30, 2008: The water level was very low -- as low as it can get at this time of year -- at least a foot below its highest level. So the most-talked about rapid on the river, the Class III "Mother" was not as "fierce" or fast as it would have been earlier in the season. This video was taken from a road bridge across the river & it overlooked the "Mother." The first two people are Heidi, the organizer, (in the triangular tube) holding onto my 8 year old son Colin, to guide him to the beginning of the rapid, before letting him go because the current was too strong to hold on & would have caused both to flip over. The second two are my 12 year old son Tristan & me (in the black helmet). We held onto each other as well to guide ourselves to the beginning of the rapid. It wasn't as bad as we "feared" mainly because the water level was very low. So with less water, the current & torrent of water wasn't as strong. I think back in June, it would have been a lot scarier...
Extreme White Water Rafting Festival on Keg River at Phitsanulok Province,Thailand. The Khek river has its water source in the Phetchabun Mountain Range in Khao Kho county. It flows past Thung salaeng Luang National Park and forms the famous Sri Dit and Kaeng Sopha waterfalls of Phitsanulok. The water course passing Wang Thong county before joining the Nan river at Bang Krathum county is also called the Wang Thong river. The level of difficulty of the current depends on the volume of water flow. In the rainy season, the river becomes swifter. Keg River is the good place for rafting as it provides exciting routes for tourists for Ban PakYang, Sapraiwan sub-district, Wang Thong district to Kang Song waterfall which lasts 8 kms. Altogether. You can travel along this route within 3 hours, depending on the water level. You will experience the water speed at level 1-2 and gradually in crease the intensity to level 4-5 in the end. This allows you to practice your skill in rafting along the way. Some cataracts last hundred meters. Travelling to Keg River is considered convenients as the river is near the road. After you get off a car you can get on a raft promptly, and when you get out of a raft you can get on a car or bus conveniently as well. No need to walk like going to other places. Flood waters in S. China recede, danger remains WATCH VIDEO Source: CCTV.com | 06-18-2008 15:12 Flood waters in south China's Guangdong province have been slowly receding. But many parts of China are bracing for more flooding as forecasters predict continuing downpours. The water level of the Pearl River is now below the warning level. Flood peaks from the Xijiang and the Beijiang, two major rivers in Guangdong province, have converged and run into the South China Sea. Weather forecasts say the current which triggered days of heavy rainstorms in Guangdong will start moving northwards on Thursday. But authorities say the flood threat in the Pearl River Delta Region is not likely to ease, as major dams there are in danger of bursting after being soaked by over 20 days of heavy downpours. The authorities are stepping up flood prevention measures in many parts of China. In Jiangxi, the provincial government is asking authorities at all levels to follow an emergency response plan to strengthen prevention measures. In Zhejiang province, officials in areas including Shaoxing, Tonglu and Chun'an are trying to secure local reservoirs. The central government has issued a level-three emergency response plan to cope with the heavy rainstorms that have been lashing many parts of China since the end of May. And the Ministry of Civil Affairs and the Ministry of Finance on Tuesday allocated 95 million yuan as relief funds to the worst-hit Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and Jiangxi ...
HOMAGE TO THE WORKERS that worked in the Water Channel and the Cares' River Route that it is one of the more beautiful and comfortable roads in Mountains of " Picos de Europa ". Layout in a startling narrow pass that conforms the spectacular " DIVINE GORGE OF THE CARES' RIVER ". Among Cain (León) and Puente Poncebos(Asturias). WATER CHANNEL From 1915 at 1921 the Society Electra of Viesgo carried out the reception works and conduction of the waters of the Cares' river, from Cain's village (León), until the hydroelectric station of Puente Poncebos, in Asturias. The difficulty of the land and the technical problems, modified the initial idea of a tunnel between Cain's prey and the camera of load of Camarmeña, for 11 Kms (SEVEN MILES) of channel. The result is today's channel that with a difference of one for thousand so soon appears in the surface as it goes into in one of the 71 tunnels drilled by hand. More than 500 workers worked in the Channel. Of the hardness of the same one are testimony of 11 lives that got lost in different accidents. THE CURRENT PATH OF THE CARES' RIVER To eliminate the difficulties of maintenance of the channel on the old path, they undertook the works of the current path, that were prolonged from September of 1945 until June of 1950. For this, were carried out diverse works, as the chopping of the rock, for loads of dynamite that opened the path, to lift walls with stone, to build the path and to level. To install rudimentary manual cable cars to ...
**ATTN: My videos are not to show skill or talent during gameplay, unless stated otherwise in the title or description. My videos are to show the appreciation of Super Mario World. The playlist contains all of my SMW walkthrough videos, so stay tuned! So, I continue my quest starting on Yoshi Island 3. This level seems to have a lot of steep mountain pillars, and the slightest tip can knock you right off the stage. The Yellow Switch Palace seems to come in handy to complete this level, so if you didn't do it yet, I suggest you do. Some yellow blocks can save you from dying. If you are already riding a Yoshi, then a 1-up mushroom replaces him from hatching from his egg. Be careful timing your jumps from one rotating platform to the other, those can be very tricky to jump onto. They begin to slow down when they have reached a full 360 degree spin. If you follow my exact route, you should have no problem clearing this level. Next is Yoshi Island 4. There is no way to fall off this level, only to drown at the bottom of the river. You can swim under this level to get to the end, but watch out for spiked balls being carried with the current. You encounter Iggy Koopa. To get through the first half of the level, avoid the lava at the bottom by climbing gates. To do so, you must press Up on your ...
Grand Canyon The principal consensus among geologists is that the Colorado River basin (of which the Grand Canyon is a part) has developed in the past 40 million years and that the Grand Canyon itself is probably less than five to six million years old (with most of the downcutting occurring in the last two million years). The result of all this erosion is one of the most complete geologic columns on the planet. The major geologic exposures in Grand Canyon range in age from the 2 billion year old Vishnu Schist at the bottom of the Inner Gorge to the 230 million year old Kaibab Limestone on the Rim. Interestingly, there is a gap of about one billion years between the stratum that is about 500 million years old and the lower level, which is about 1.5 billion years old. That indicates a period of erosion between two periods of deposition. Many of the formations were deposited in warm shallow seas, near-shore environments (such as beaches), and swamps as the seashore repeatedly advanced and retreated over the edge of a proto-North America. Major exceptions include the Permian Coconino Sandstone, which most (though not all)[3][4][5][6][7] geologists claim was laid down as sand dunes in a desert, and several parts of the Supai Group. The great depth of the Grand Canyon and especially the height of its strata (most of which formed below sea level) can be attributed to 5000 to 10000 feet (1500 to 3000 m) of uplift of the Colorado Plateau, starting about 65 million years ago ...

The 27th episode... this time, we're in another new level, Bank of the Wild River. It has a constant current carrying you backwards, which you'll want to do anyway after you get the gray key. Just be sure to avoid those yellow spiky things in the water, or else you'll become puffy and have to make your way all to the right again (you can't go left, as the wall is too large). Oh, and this trident is useful with the gray treasure in The Tidal Coast, which will be coming up next...
The Interstate 35W Mississippi River eight-lane bridge in Minneapolis, Minnesota has collapsed on both sides of the highway over the Mississippi River during rush hour. The entire length of the bridge over the river collapsed at 6:05 pm CDT (UTC-5). The bridge, built in 1967, cleared the water level by 64 feet; the deck surface and pavement were considerably higher. In 2001 a stress inspection was done and Minnesota Department of Transportation stated that the bridge "should not have any problems with fatigue cracking in the foreseeable future." Typically an eight-lane bridge, the bridge was reduced to four lanes (two in each direction) during the current construction. The Minnesota Department of Transportation (Mn/DOT) had just announced overnight lane reductions on the bridge to one lane in each direction for the late evening hours of July 31 and August 1.
Note: This isn't a video with codes. I think I'll mention that from now on whenever I do or don't use codes so the videos aren't confusing. I want to upload both hacked fights and normal fights. This one was an actual tough one, so I wanted to upload it. Anyway, yea, this was the hardest part for me so far. Took quite a few tries. Not enough room to move, cannons shooting down at you, and everything two hit killing you. On top of that, because I used Drives so much in Timeless River to level them up, that I had a huge chance of going Anti Form during this fight, which I unfortunatley ended up doing. I was hoping to go Wisdom Form to make it easier. HOWEVER, Anti-Form really owns these guys, since they can't hit you in the air. So yea, Larxene has to be soon. Can't wait to see how easily I get crushed at this level. Also, I don't even really know what abilities I have equipped anymore. So I added a little section at the end that shows my current abilities & stats. If anyone wants to translate them for me, I'd greately appreciate it. I know the first unequipped ability is Slapshot, no freaking idea what the second unequipped one is, I just earned it, and the last 3 blue abilities are Auto-Forms/Summons, which I don't like. The green abilities I have most of them figured out, just a couple I don't know about. And I also have no idea how I have counterattack, I could have sworn you get that later on in the game. Note: This game is Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix, not KH2. In ...
Visit to Saltstraumen Maelstrom, the world's strongest tidal current, outside Bodø Norway 19 July 2007. Saltstraumen (which means Salt Current) is created when the tide fills or empties the Skjerstad fjord. The height difference of the sea surface can be as much as 1 meter between the inside and the outside of the narrow sound. In the attempt to level out the two sides, the water increases speed and turns into something that looks like a very strong river.

Trinity River flooding at the low water crossing near Beach St., Fort Worth Texas. This is not the crest, this shot was taken after the water level had dropped about 2 feet. I estimate the low water crossing (a bike path across a dam) to be under about 3 feet of water. The fish in the scene are alligator gar and carp which are trying to fight the current. I'm sure they had to give up the fight and go with the flow. Note: If you're looking at the Google Satellite map, the picture was taking before the lw crossing was built.
Here I show you basically what I do so far to level up my forms. Its pretty easy for the msot part on my low level game. First off you see what I need to do for Limit Form, complete each maneuver. Its handy to have a save spot near to get mp back asap. Each time you compete one of those moves you get another point. Next up is my brave form, thats easy, especially against this guy jsut keep hitting and it goes up nice and fast :D Master form isnt hard either to do at this point I just go and get the yellow orbs, and theres plenty there in the land of the dragons. Wisdom form I did what people suggested to me and do it in Timeless River. Its harder to do o na low level game sicne everyoen still takes forever to kill. And finalyl this part in Space Paranoids is where I died so often, I just gotta use this move to knock them out of the way and get out of anyone elses attack. Whew! Next up is the Hostile Program.
Bungee Surfing is a new extreme sport where you ride a small surfboard/skimboard on a river going upstream at speeds of up to 30mph. Riverboards are propelled upstream by a bungee system. The bungee system is a 20 foot section of rubber tubing that is stretched out and then propels the rider upstream. One end of the bungee system is anchored to any stationary, solid object along the side of the river -- Rocks, trees, bushes make good anchors. How does the bungee get stretched out? The rider kneels on the board forcing it under water. Once the board is submerged, the rider then holds the nose of the board up and forces the tail of the board down in the water by standing on the tail. At this point the board is under water and at almost a 90 degree angle to the river surface. The board is now acting like the sail of a boat, but rather than catching air, the board is catching the river current and causing the board and rider to be pushed down stream. Once the bungee system is fully stretched the rider shifts his weight from the tail of the board to the front of the board. When the rider shifts his weight to the front of the board this causes the board to rise to the surface of the water and level out. At this point the bungee starts pulling the rider upstream. Once the bungee is done pulling the board upstream, the board releases from the bungee system. Once you are riding upstream you can carve turns and do all kinds of board tricks, big spins, ollies, shuv-it's, kick flips ...
