This is my 50th upload.this is a mixture of varied type of trains of my channel. At first i'll try to get you a grip on the classes you can opt for in a typical long-distance train. RAJDHANI EXPRESS The first Rajdhani Express left New Delhi station for Howrah station to cover a distance of 1445 km in 16 hours 55mins. These trains get the highest priority on the Indian railway network. They are fully air-conditioned. Passengers are served complimentary meals during the journey. Depending on the duration and timings of the journey, these could include lunch, high tea, dinner, morning tea and breakfast. Almost all Rajdhani trains offer three classes of accommodation: First Class AC with 2- or 4-berth lockable bedrooms, AC 2-tier with open berths (bays of 4 berths + 2 berths on the other side of the corridor) with curtains for privacy. DURONTO EXPRESS Duronto (Bengali: ??????; "quick") Express trains are a set of specialized rail services by Indian Railways like Rajdhani Express and Shatabdi Express trains. The Minister of Railways, Kumari Mamata Banerjee inspected the sample AC double decker coach at New Delhi Railway Station after its arrival from RCF, Kapurthala today. She had earlier announced the introduction of AC double decker trains while presenting the Railway Budget 2010 in the Parliament in the month of June, 2009. RCF will start manufacturing the double decker coaches after successful completion of oscillation trials. These futuristic high speed-stainless steel AC coaches would be introduced to cater to the heavy rush of commuters in high density corridors offering AC travel at a low cost. The first double decker train would be seen running on rail tracks by end of this year. The new coach with pleasing green-yellow colour scheme has all the features and the comforts of a Shatabdi coach. A totally new coach shell design capable of running at a speed of 160 kmph was developed by RCF engineers in tandem with Research Design and Standard Organisation (RDSO) within a short span of just nine months. Better luck for me next time? This road has constant truck traffic from a nearby quarry and anything near the road was coated in mud spray. It might be worth returning on a cold and clear weekend morning for less noise and blurriness. Of course it will depend on how friendly the neighbours are. A wagging tail is a good thing, right?

Presenting the Railway Budget for 2009-10 in Parliament on Friday Minister of Railways Mamata Banerjee announced there will be no increase in passenger fare and freight tariff.
State Representatives Chris Caruso, David McCluskey, Andres Ayala, Don Clemons, Jack Hennessy, Tom Drew, Audin Grogins, and Ezequiel Santiago held a news conference at the Bridgeport Bus Terminal to denounce Governors proposed rail and bus fare hikes. Governor Rell has proposed a 10% rail fare increase and a 20%-40% bus and ADA fare increase as part of her biennial budget. These increases further add to the burdens faced during this recession by poor and working families across Connecticut who depend on bus and rail transportation, and will force some rail and bus commuters back onto already congested roads and highways.
State Representatives David McCluskey, Chris Caruso, Andres Ayala, Don Clemons, Jack Hennessy, Tom Drew, Audin Grogins, and Ezequiel Santiago held a news conference at the Bridgeport Bus Terminal to denounce Governors proposed rail and bus fare hikes. Governor Rell has proposed a 10% rail fare increase and a 20%-40% bus and ADA fare increase as part of her biennial budget. These increases further add to the burdens faced during this recession by poor and working families across Connecticut who depend on bus and rail transportation, and will force some rail and bus commuters back onto already congested roads and highways.
