Dr Bruce Copley acclaimed multi-instrumentalist, maverick didge player and pioneer of SA corporate drumming has made a very timeous Vuvuzela discovery just in time for the 2010 World Soccer Cup. He explains and demonstrates how with some simple techniques and a little practise, any vuvuzela player or owner can quickly learn how to produce a variety of sweet sounding notes, rhythms and tunes on their instrument which is then transformed into a RAINBOW vuvuzela. This can be done without any modification on any vuvuzela irrespective of its shape, size, design or composition. Bruce is offering group coaching sessions. McKayle's program note for Rainbow 'Round My Shoulder (1959): "A searing dramatic narrative, Rainbow 'Round My Shoulder is set on a chain gang in the American south where prisoners work, breaking rock from "can see to can't see." Their aspirations for freedom appear in the guise of a woman, first as a vision, then as a remembered sweetheart, mother, and wife. The songs that accompany their arduous labor are rich in polyphony and tell a bitter, sardonic, and tragic story." The dancers in this 1959 performance include McKayle, Alfred DeSio, and Mary Hinkson (if anyone can identify any of the other dancers, please let me know). The lead vocalist is Leon Bibb. View the SNES Rainbow Road (RC1) Known Worldwide Leaderboard here: www.mariokartwii.com This is the former World Record/Best known time of SNES Rainbow Road (as of 4th September 2009, until 9th September 2009) by me ;) I found a nice new low-jump technique for use on the first glitched ramp, and it's helped me go sub-2:35 a lot quicker than expected. Obviously, there's still a ton of mistakes to iron out because despite everything, I only JUST managed to get under 2:35. Thanks to everything I did wrong the rest of the way around, lol. Though my Lap 3 was my finest to date (it still kinda sucks) ;) Lap 1 - 51.879 Lap 2 - 51.785 Lap 3 - 51.249 Total Time: 2:34.913 Mistakes: I didn't mean to go using that second boost on Lap 1, though somehow it didn't lose any time as far as I can tell, or if it did, not much. And I managed to fail low jumping the second split on lap 2, though that's nothing new, I suck at that jump :P Aaaand random turning-while-wheelieing everywhere, and not taking corners correctly. But since nobody's done it better yet, this is still a WR. Lawl. For how long? :P SNES Rainbow Road is a course model hack/custom course for Mario Kart Wii by Mr Bean and Chadderz. It is publicly available for download, and if you have the correct homebrew and fancy entering into the Time Trials/WFC races then I'd like to hear from you ;) If you need full instructions on how to get this track, go to the leaderboard link at the top of the description, and in there will be a ...
So, my brother (Chadderz) being the genius that he is has managed to figure out solidity on a basic level. So, I returned back to my old SNES Rainbow Road model hack and completely changed it, reconstructing the models and texturing, checkpoints, item routes, AI routes, etc. And Chadderz added in solidity, not 100% perfect but it's very good indeed. The result is what you see here; the old alpha model hack cannot compete with this. This is our best work to date. I wondered what the best way to demonstrate this new course would be, so I organised an event: An invitation for any hackers capable of using the SZS Modifier or running texture/model hacked courses to participate in a recorded GP around SNES Rainbow Road. The result was a grand total of 8 players across 6 Wiis, which is fantastic ;) I will only upload the first part of the GP (first 2 races) because sadly after that one quite a few people were disconnected. Mindscarp has also uploaded these two races from his point of view, you can find that video here: zoome.jp And the 3rd race is actually available from UgotHacked if you really want to see it: www.youtube.com Players in the race (followed by YouTube name where available): Mr Bean (MrBean35000vr) Player 255 aka Chadderz UgotHacked (UgotHacked35000vr) *UgotPwn* Asheanao (NaSai) Nin*Toad (GreenSkittlesPwn) mindscarp (mindscarp) Piticus Despite people getting disconnected and lots of random "YOU WERE HACKING!!!" accusations, I think the races went well ;) We should ...
Just in time to celebrate Hwangbo's birthday, although the mv's a little sad but I know it will still touch the hearts of all Joongboers around the world. I think this is what Shillang really feels right now and even then when their episodes ended. And mualeena of the Joongbo thread in soompi found this beautiful pinao version of Trax' "Over The Rainbow" and she requested if someone can make an mv of it using JB cuts. I found the music and lyrics so touching and I can't help but resist not doing an mv of it. But just like my previous works, I always make a story on the mv so you'll most definitely see other clips aside from Joongbo cuts as well. To Hwangbo Hyejung, my prayers for you, be strong (I know you are) and stay with HJ forever. God is good to a person who has a compassionate heart, just like you. HAPPY BIRTHDAY! All my love, Katkat and Iccy And to the rest of the Bubblezzangs who never grew tired of looking at your wonderful face and body. Thank God we were able to dodge the flying TV sets.^______^ Music: Over The Rainbow by Trax ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ All the clips I used aren't mine, the subs were done by muish, hellobello, quiante, casauve and many more hard working Joongboers. CLICK FOR HD/STEREO!: www.youtube.com Since I've been back home in Saskatoon for the summer, I've been really enjoying spending time with Esmeralda (my grand piano). Lately, I've been reviewing old pieces that I've done for recitals and exams and such, and it's been fun going over these old pieces after letting them sit for a few years. Today I decided to do a test recording of my piano to see how well I could capture the brilliance of its sound with my equipment. What you're hearing at the beginning of the video is me goofing around on the jazz standard "Someday My Prince Will Come". It didn't take long for me to find a sound I was happy with, so a few hours later, I decided to record the Harold Arlen/ EY Harburg classic "Over the Rainbow". I learned this song 4 years ago when I did my Grade 9 Royal Conservatory Exam. It's a beautiful jazz piano arrangement and I enjoy playing it so I thought "Why not?". I hope you all enjoy listening to it. And please use headphones or good speakers. If you would like an .mp3 of either song just drop me a line (aka send me a message) I might try recording some other simple old favourites, as well as some complicated new tunes, covering many different genres so stay tuned! Drinking habit's a loose sometime I gotta know if you're still mine And I can't wait Last time I saw your face You tried to hide the tears But I could see the trace I'd be there if I could But it's so far away from home Lost in Hollywood In the dark the vultures wait I can hear them Knocking at my gate But I'm not here The brew was cold The meat is stale In the LA night the sirens wail The song you can feel Pale stars that never shine Scotch and the whiskey And the Rainbow local wine She's done more bad than good I gotta get away somehow Lost in Hollywood On the streets the sun is fine Don't you feel the advantage hit your mind Feels all right, oh yeah But I'm a lover Like a loaded gun Chasing shadows on the run Out in the night I'm gonna lose control If I been losing you To pay for rock'n'roll Get back I know I should Gotta get back home to you You don't know what I been through But there's nothing I can do, oh no Lost in Hollywood

I thought I would throw my hat in the ring with Somewhere Over the Rainbow. This iconic Harold Arlen tune has been done many different ways. The challenge for me is to find something new in something very familiar. Of course, Jarrett's performance is foundational. I believe nobody did it better than Judy Garland herself. She captured perfectly a sense of reflective hopefulness and a yearning for something better. She produced one of the purest and most true performances ever recorded.
Amanda and Dean go shopping for food. They try a fun new recipe and a 'interesting' new fruit. The fruit is called the 'Kiwano Horned Melon' if you wanted to try it (though Amanda and Dean highly recommend you DO NOT try) Recipe for Rainbow Float: Pour any soda in cup then scoop a small amount of ice cream and drop into soda, put some sprinkles on top of the ice-cream and you are done! To make a 'licorice straw' just take a single piece of licorice and bite both ends of it. Enjoy! Music by Brad Sucks

Thanks for listening... May God bless you! :) If you have any requests, feel free to stop by and leave 'em.. LYRICS: [Verse 1:] This is a forecast of a storm, for some it seems the storm just won't pass. For you it seems so dark, that day will never ever come into your life, sunny and bright. [Chorus:] So when the rain falls down on me, Lord, take me high up so I can see the rainbow, I wanna see Your rainbow. Though the rain causes many complications, Lord, I'm still looking for Your decoration called the rainbow, I wanna see Your rainbow. (The rainbow tells me this storm has passed). (The rainbow tells me this storm has passed). [Verse 2:] My word, it just won't fade, and My glory, it will prevail, just like the rainbow in the sky, it's so powerful and it's so bright, the rainbow, I wanna see Your rainbow. [Chorus] [Vamp 1:] He'll take your winter, turn it spring, summer will fall, fall into place. [Vamp 2:] The storm has passed. The storm, this storm has passed. [Ending:] The rainbow tells me this storm has passed.

Watch it in high quality ;) This is a ghost made by Shade/Stick (a VGR team's player, and Belgian) which shows the new SC strat on Rainbow Road (Route Arc-en-Ciel). He's done it on the third lap, with a time of 49" 210 BUT he's already beaten the WR flap with 48" 978 (great new sub!). This SC needs a mushroom, but it was discovered few hours ago (to be exact : 17 nov. 2008 @ ~1:00 pm), before i post the vid, so you can think that the strat can be improved again. This is a tut on how to do the XP glitch on RSV2. i made this a few minutes ago so i could help someone. note. if you are using a wireless controller and you want to sleep boost. use your play and charge so your controller doesnt die and ruin it all 1. first you need to delete the patch. you must be signed out of LIVE for it to work. go to the system blade of your dash. go to memory and click y on your HD or MEM card. then click ---XX LB RB XX--- and a dialogue box should pop up. "perform maintenence?" YES. this deletes the update/cache on your HD. it leaves everything else. you wont lose anything important. 2. load up the single player. mission 1 act 2 "ambush" play through the level untill you get to the bomb defusal part (shown in vid). and have your team take out the 2 gaurds 3. hump your teamates face 4. take cover on the pillar shown and tell your team to move to the spot shown, right in front of that door. then when they are positioned look left and tell them to stack on the door on the second floor (shown) 5. POOF they teleport up a level. 6. while your team is up there look at the bomb. tell your team to defuse it and right after throw a grenade at the door opposite it. (shown) if done correctly you get 2 kills with it. (ps. your teamate cant defuse it cuz hes on the second floor.) and then... 7. the guy on the turret spawns. OVER AND OVER again. SO theres multiple things you can do. 8.1 do headshots and get that ACE up. 8.2 get close like i do and get CQB up 8.3 ...

Going Over the Edge at Niagara's Rainbow Falls - also known as Niagara's American Falls: Neither suicide nor daredevil, a horrible tragedy by a man who over medicated. I was contacted by this man's family. He was a pharmacist, named Robert Ahrens, from the Tonawanda, NY. area. His body was recovered and medication found in his system. It is believed he over medicated and was not fully cognizant of his actions at the time he jumped in the water. His family firmly believes this was not a willful suicide act. Death of any sort (accident or suicide) is not funny; lessons should be learned. This took place in the 1980s (often suggested to be 1985). News reporter, Phil Kavitz, and videographer, Larry Frazier, were recording a report at Prospect Point for Buffalo TV News 2 when a man jumped into the water and went over Rainbow (American) Falls. Some people think it looks like he tripped or slipped. If you've been in this area, you would know that it's not a totally unimpeded dash to the water. The family believes that he did not know of the danger and did not know exactly where he was. In this area the Niagara is fast moving and relatively shallow. He appears from his position and shoulders, above the water, as if he is paddling or was holding a small item that held him up. This is definitely not a stunt. It is only a coincidence of circumstance that a news crew was in the area which afforded a final documented moment in history. This area is the Niagara Falls heavy tourist area ...
This is done on the first level, 2nd scene: Ambush. Load that and then get to the checkpoint where you have to defuse the bomb. Play on realistic so you get 5xp for each kill. Now have your guys clear out the room. Move your guys in front of the door like I did but don't stack them against the door. Now I show you that you have to be against the pillar and point to the door near the stairs and press A to stack them against that door. Can't be done if you're now on the pillar. Now your team glitches upstairs. Now go and press A to defuse the bomb. Now throw an explosive against the wall where the computer is, this triggers the guy to respawn over and over. Get into cover where you can't see the action so the screen doesn't start to lag from too many bodies on the screen at once. Now either use a plugged in controller so your controller doesn't turn off or go into private chat with a friend you controller won't turn off if you're in private chat. I don't take credit for this glitch, I was told by someone in an online match. I'm just posting it so you can all do it. Brought to you by Free Achievements.

NOTE: THIS GLITCH HAS BEEN UPDATED WITH THE 23 APRIL GAME UPDATE.IF YOU WISH TO CARRY ON USING THIS GLITCH, DO NOT CONTINUE WITH THE UPDATE. This can be done by yourself or with a partner. Start a story on 'Ambush' - in the first chapter and make your way to the bomb near the end. Take out the two guys and send your team to disarm the bomb. Before he gets there chuck a grenade at the door opposite. You should get two kills. Run behind cover and take out the guy on the turret. The guy spawns again just to the left. He spawns an unlimited amount of times so just aim in the same place. If you run out of amo just let him kill you and start from the same checkpoint Note: Doing this on realistic helps a lot since you will get 10xp each kill Thanks to Clan Person H1 and the big stump for showing me

Indigo Children , Crystal Children and Rainbow Children are all the same in essence--but opinions vary - suggest to remember the nature of opinions--they are made to serve a purpose that may not serve your child as a living being here equal and one. Firstly I would suggest to not in any way whatsoever define your child as indigo/crystal, but to experience you with your child as one and equal as you. See, parents fear within them of the wellbeing of their child bring them to do all sorts of unnecessary actions within which they participate, which the parent believe is the best of their child when it is not, because that which they apparently do which is best for the child is done in and of fear and concern which will have a consequence in the child life. For instance: Such as believing their child is a indigo/crystal child for instance when the child in actual fact is not at all, and when or if the parent think/believe the child is an indigo/crystal child it influence the childs entire expression as who they are and thus influence the childs life for the remainder of the experience of themselves within this world because the parent defined their child as being indigo/crystal and thus treated the child/behaved around the child according to the child apparently being an indigo/crystal child and this really, extensively cause unnecessary harm within the childs experience of themselves in this world instead of the parent being one and equal as the child. Realise that your ...
This isn't an arrangement--it's a bunch of reharmonizations duct taped together and played consecutively. I just have to point that out up front, it's hip to pull off maybe one or two of these in a tune, but it's not hip to reharmonize every single section of a tune, and do it differently every time. (Unless you're trying to mess up the singer.) Having got that out of the way, these are a dozen variations on the A section of SOTR, plus three different bridges. There's not really an intro or ending, because this is not an arrangement. Four choruses in all, I just play the melody, no improvisation. I spent about 2-3 hours on writing all this mess down, about two hours recording it, and way too long on editing and annotating the video. I avoided all the pedestrian reharms that you run into all over the place, these are all intended to be a little more obtuse. Some are a lot more obtuse. You may not dig them all. I only bent the melody twice in doing this. I have some doubled thirds here and there that may offend the classically trained among you (deal with it). This is in the usual key of Eb, and interestingly, I start an A section with a chord rooted on each note of the chromatic scale except for F#/Gb. I'm pretty sure I use every chord quality available at some point or other along the way. The final A section is the one I'm happiest with, and I did it first actually. The chromaticaly ascending bass line satisfies some compositional urge in me that I can't explain. I ...
24 Sycamore - "Gene Pitney" - Year Song Released 1963 I`ve just lost a lifetime. I have just lost my mind. So Mr World, look after that girl. The one that I just left behind at 24 Sycamor. Flowing right under the gate of 24 Sycamor' Where did my baby go? Wh-ooooo-oh. Windows black, watched me crying and they said. It`s all over, you have lost her. Why don`t you run away? What could I say? I said. Where`s the hand that I used to hold? Once so warm but tonight so cold. Now she`s gone we both must share the pain. She gone. My life is done, it`s ended. Just one more thing to do. I`ll take a last look, and then close the book. On someone that I once knew at 24 Sycamor. Where did my baby go? Wh-ooooo-oh. Where`s the hand that I used to hold? Once so warm but tonight so cold. Now she`s gone, we both must share the pain. She gone and I say, (fading) Where`s the hand that I used to hold? Once so warm but tonight so cold... Now she`s gone we both must share the pain.
Theres a scene in the movie face/off where over the rainbow is being played while alot of shooting and such is going on.. so i thought i would add alittle twist to it using the same song from the movie, just in a slightly different cut.
Tribute to the Extraordinary Eva Cassidy ~ I discovered the profound beauty and talent of Eva Cassidy just recently while recovering from surgery. Laptop surfing, I was searching for something to take my mind off the emotional anguish and physical pain of my recent wounds. Somehow I stumbled across the videos of Eva Cassidy's Live performance at Blues Alley. From her first notes, I was stunned and captivated. And comforted. Her musical selection, interpretation, range, enunciation, sustaining notes, phrasing, rich timbre and vocal acrobatics are exquisitely overwhelming. Her power and softness are a constant marvel. Her delivery is perfection. The sheer beauty of her music reaches very deep inside me and yet simultaneously transports me far beyond myself. It is rather foolish to do what I've just done (and have never before felt compelled to do); put together a simple, inadequate slide show. Especially when we are blessed with the great and haunting footage of Eva's live performance at Blues Alley. But it is my humble, yet passionate thank you to Eva Cassidy for sharing her unforgettable music, art and spirit. Her voice is a conduit to something bigger, more profound and extraordinary than words can express. My heartfelt appreciation goes to Barbara and Hugh Cassidy for bringing Eva into our world and to Chris Biondo for believing in Eva and making it possible for us to still hear her. From 1933: The very peppy "Dancing On A Rainbow" Number with Maureen O'Sullivan. The end of the number was influenced with German Expressionist filmmaking of the era, I think.
Live cover of Rainbow Connection done by Ben Walter and guitarist Michael Heise from Notes to Myself.
Here June sings "I Am Thinking Tonight of My Blue Eyes." This song could in some ways be credited with breaking up the original Carter Family. AP had had a mistress for years but when Sarah began having an affair with his cousin Coy Bayes no one was impressed. It was decided that Coy should go away to California with his parents and siblings. For years Sarah wrote to Coy but he never received the letters because his mother felt that it was best if they would forget each other and kept them from him. Sarah wrote this song for him and one day on the radio out of sheer desperation dedicated the song to Coy Bayes and sang away. He heard her on the other side of the country and his mother confessed what she had done. He drove through the night to see Sarah and they never separated again after that.
Film done by the Discovery channel, found here: groups.msn.com Quality is terrible, wish there was a better copy of this out there! But the audio alone is valuable.
I have been going to Rainbow Gatherings on & off since 1983. These clips come from a larger video that was done called 1997 Rainbowspirit. I have pulled all the Pagan songs & chants from the video & will post each one here. I missed this gathering but my daughter was there. No she ain't in any of the clips, at least I ain't seen her. Though people of many religions go to gatherings, most are either Pagan or Native Shamanistic as well as a large sprinkle of Rastas & Krishnas. This is the fourth clip in the series. ENJOY! (12/29/09) Ifyou enjoy my videos and like to see more and more quality videos, consider donating towards my "Help Gypsy get a RV Fund" by sending donations to my Pay Pal via my email, at: jlobos65 (at) gmail (dot) com Your donation will help me get out of my truck and into a bed and back up to Oregon where I can get work. THANK YOU!
So the sequel to Pop'n Twinbee isn't a sequel at all, but a all new game. Taking the best bits from Sonic and Rocket Knight Adventures (wich was also by Konami, so, no harm done), the end result is a excelent platform game versus the clock. I love it! No other game lets you skyrocket up into the sky, past the clouds, into orbit and all the way to 9999 kms high! Still, some of the fans , and partly me, would love to see a proper sequel.
Paps 'N Skar VS. Eiffel 65 - Done by Scooter Berg... sweet video... brings back memories of a good party :)
Jethro Tull and Blackmore's Night with their versions of "Rainbow Blues" - Video is from YouTube however since there is no video done by either band, I felt it was good to give each their own credit. Enjoy...
