Mumbai, April 8 (ANI): Bollywood actor and part owner of the Rajasthan Royals, one of the franchisees of the Indian Premier League, Shilpa Shetty, on Tuesday unveiled new cricket gear for her team in Mumbai. Designed by Puma, the new cricket gear is sponsored by Ultratech Cement. Shetty wished her squad best and hoped that her team would defend the title that it won last year.
Cricketer Yusuf Pathan promoted Rajasthan Royals in Mumbai ahead of the IPL season 2.
Aditya Birla Group firm Ultratech Cement announced a tie-up with the IPL first edition champions Rajasthan Royals for the second season of the T20 league starting at Cape Town in South Africa. Ultratech would be the lead sponsors of the franchise team owned by Emerging Media, in which Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty and her boyfriend Raj Kundra are the official brand ambassadors. Thus a media conference was held, where Shilpa unveiled the Rajasthan Royal jersey and the promotional video.
