We had the pleasure of flying with two outstanding students from the San Antonio area while in town for the Randolph Air Force Base Airshow. This is the segment aired by CNN about the flights. Greg's Elevate Your Life Program reached over 3500 children this year. He made presentations at 14 schools and took many students for the ride of a lifetime in his Fagen MX2 showplane. Each student was given a DVD of their flight thanks to the onboard cameras on the plane, and an autographed personal photo of themselves in the cockpit as a memento. Lt. Joe Sharky Capalbo The Boeing F/A-18E/F Super Hornet is a carrier-based strike fighter aircraft. The F/A-18E single-seat variant and F/A-18F tandem-seat variant are larger and more advanced derivatives of the F/A-18C and D Hornet. The Super Hornet has an internal 20 mm gun and can carry air-to-air missiles and air-to-surface weapons. Additional fuel can be carried with up to five external fuel tanks and the aircraft can be configured as an airborne tanker by adding an external air refueling system.

Local press were invited to San Antonio International Airport on the 5th November, to take part in the Media Day for the Randolph Airshow, held on the 7th/8th November 2009. This was held in conjunction with Disabled American Veterans dav.org , who arranged for the B-25 and numerous other aircraft to be present, to fly veterans from the Warrior Transition Unit of the San Antonio Military Medical Center at Fort Sam Houston. I was lucky enough to be given a chance to shoot some air-to-air photography with Greg Poe and the B-25. Check out more photos at http from this event and from the airshow.

Video of the world's most sophisticated fighter jet performing a demonstration at the 2009 Randolph Air Show in San Antonio, TX. The F22 performs a variety of aerobatic maneuvers to demonstrate its unique flight capabilities. In some scenes you can see examples of prandtlglauert singularities. These are also known as vapor cones or shock eggs. They are the visible condensation clouds that appear in regions where air is moving at transonic speeds. Where pressure drops rapidly, the air cools and moisture from the air condenses creating a visible cloud. Condensation is also visible in some images near the wingtips. This condensation makes the cores of wingtip vortices visible. Once again these occur in low pressure regions where the air temperature drops and moisture condenses.

Sorry about all the heads in the way. I was contemplating not even shooting the A-10 at first. lol Also, at around 2:36, while the A-10 was inverted over the top, some stuff came out of the engine, my guess is that is was fuel. Anyone know for sure?
