As told before Rangeela was perhaps on top among those who played so many double roles in movies. Here, as the name indicates the story revolves around a police man and his servant both having identical faces so a lot of comedy situation arise in the movie. like the servant in the first scene here grabs the opportunity and flirts withe house-maid while the police-officer gets beating by wife who thinks that hes the servant wearing dress of the officer :) Of course both roles played by Rangeela. In this concluding part of tribute to him on his death anniversary i wud like to share a bit more on him..like he was the one for whom a special term was used "ghoRay day moonh wala" and he did cash it by producing horse like gestures & voices in almost all of his movies.. Even he gave a slang for our Tanga walas who used to say to their horses when starting travel "chal oay Rangeelay`aa" In general there are 3 different types of comedy roles in movies, first is the one called situational comedy in which the emphasis is not on the comedy by character but according to the story, second is the one based on the spoken words of comedy characters (Lehri in Urdu Movies & Munawwar Zarif in Punjabi movies are the two best examples of the vocal comedy) and the third one is Gesture comedy which is more based on face impressions or more correctly facial distortions and accompanying body movements or gestures. Rangeela was more suited to this third type (People used to see him and laugh even ...
