Maureen Reillette Brown (born May 29, 1950 in Gary, Indiana) is an American singer, eldest member of the successful Jackson family and sister of pop icons Michael Jackson and Janet Jackson. She is professionally known as Rebbie Jackson. As a singer, she is most famous for the 1984 hit, "Centipede".
After participating in her family's Las Vegas shows and later their televised variety show, Rebbie began her music career as a background session singer for such acts as Lou Rawls and Chaka Khan. Her brother Michael helped Rebbie score a solo hit with his written and produced "Centipede", in 1984. The song reached #24 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #4 on the Billboard's Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks chart and helped her debut album (also titled Centipede) go gold.
