There will be a game 7! Could it have been played out any better? I don't know. No matter what happens, both teams have shown they deserve to be here. If you are a Wings fan and think the Wings have already won, you are an idiot. If you are a Pens fan and think the Pens have already won, you are an idiot. Both teams have a chance for the Cup now. It's one game away. This was an unbelievable game! I couldn't sit down and watch it. I was on the edge of my seat or pacing the room. I think I missed some highlights early, my mind wasn't really registering well. The whole game was crazy and my nerves didn't handle it well. Staal and Kennedy with the goals. Great plays by the 3rd line guys. Fleury rebounded with a great game! The breakaway save was epic. And Scuds, who often doesn't get in the spotlight. But he somehow kept the puck out right at the end, and made great plays all game. WE MUST RESIGN HIM!!! One game. Game 7 in the finals. Why must Friday be so far away? LET'S GO PENS!!!

Talbot said it best in the post game: "We could have lost 12-0, who cares? A loss is a loss." Well said. Maybe it 's an easier loss than a 2-1 OT loss. Maybe it's what is needed to refocus on game 6. Maybe such a lopsided game will give that extra fire for the Pens in Game 6. They've got 2 days off to get past this game. Chants of "Crosby sucks" started. Not a great idea, Wings fans. Ask the Flyers fans why. Go back to your end of game sing-a-longs and standing and turning to look at the cameras. This definitely isn't over yet. Any Wings fan that says so is crazy for thinking that. The Pens definitely defeated themselves tonight. Not to take away from Detroit, but you can't take those penalties against them. It just can't happen. And I managed to post this recap without once mentioning how bad NBC sucks. Oops.

SUPERSTAR TREATMENT!!! A year ago today, Talbot scored to take game 5 into overtime in one of the most epic games in Penguins history. Fast forward a year, and he has a great game again. Geno with 3 assists. He has points on 5 of the 6 Pens goals this series. Unreal. What a game! But we still have a long way to go. Hold serve in game 4 at home. It's a 2-1 series now! LET'S GO PENS!! VS shows how awesome the big screen outside is. If only NBC would realize they are being total dicks. If Wings fans complain about the calls, shut up. No one wants to hear it. Vent somewhere else, not here.
