Francais Pour Une Nuit 10/19/2009 On July 7th of this year we were honored to perform at Arenes de Nimes, the historic Roman amphitheatre in Nimes, France, easily one of the most spectacular venues in the world. We thought it would be a memorable night, so we asked our friends in France to bring along a film crew to document the festivities. The result is "Francais Pour Une Nuit" (translation: "French For One Night"), the DVD of the evening including the full show, interviews with us, and five videos shot by YOU, our buddies in the audience. All this and more will be available starting November 23, 2009! "Francais Pour Une Nuit" was extra special for us because not only was it filmed in France, but ALL aspects of the project are French as the show was filmed, recorded, and edited with French camera and recording crews, the artwork on the package and special box set (more on that in a minute!) were created by a French design team; even the credits are in French. The only non-French parts: the three Americans and one Dane on stage and the photos shot by Englishman Ross Halfin. The DVD will be available in retail stores in France only, at www.metallica.com, or you may order online through the record company at www.metallicanimes.com. There will be three formats available: Standard DVD in a digipack including a 16 page booklet, Blu-Ray DVD, also in a digipack with the booklet, and the deluxe limited edition box set that includes the DVD, a copy of "Death Magnetic on CD," a ...

The perfect example of what I was saying in my last video appeared soon after it was uploaded. The Internet was abuzz with a quote from Professor Phil Jones that there has been no global warming since 1995. But is that what he actually said? Once again, we need to go to the source -- Jones's own words -- rather than Internet gossip based on an interpretation of what he said. If we check the primary source, it's a very different story. In fact, Jones and his team did detect warming since 1995. In this video I go to the source, and find out why the tabloid press got things so wrong. I have to correct part of the video where I gave an example of what an 80% statistical significance would mean (for the statisticians out there, this is a p-value of 20%). I said this would mean 80% confidence that global warming was a real, underlying trend, and not the result of background fluctuations. While some statisticians accepted this as a broad explanation for the layperson, others felt it deviated too far from the precise meaning, which is this: =If global warming was not happening, there is only a 20% chance we would see this result.= A 90% statistical significance (if that's what Jones achieved) of the 1995-2009 temperature data would mean If global warming was not happening, there is only a 10% chance we would see this result. Enjoy Francesc "Cesc" Fàbregas i Soler (born 4 May 1987) is a professional footballer who plays as a central midfielder. He captains the English Premier League club Arsenal and plays for the Spanish national team. Fàbregas started his career as a trainee with Barcelona but was signed by Arsenal in September 2003 at the age of 16. Following injuries to key midfielders in the 200405 season, he established himself as Arsenal's starting central midfielder and playmaker. He went on to break several of the club's records, earning a reputation as one of the best young players for his position of his generation. In international football, the Spaniard's national career began when he represented the Under-17 side at the 2003 FIFA U-17 World Championship in Finland. As a result of his club performances, he was called up to the senior squad in 2006. He has played in the 2006 FIFA World Cup and Euro 2008, where he helped Spain to become eventual winners in the latter.

lightworkers.org ... We have informed you that it is time to reveal the truth about us, and our activities on your behalf. The time of revelations you refer to as Disclosure is so to say on the table, and it will open a Pandoras Box of information. Once the initial announcement has been made, it will bring out long hidden truths about the Galactic Federation members. It will also reveal the truth about other visitors to Earth outside of our membership, and not necessarily of the higher levels of Light. Naturally a young civilisation such as yours attracts a lot of interest, and it is permissible for visits to be made for the purposes of exploration and scientific information. However, there are strict laws of non-interference, and they have to observed. As you have grown over thousands of years, the colonisation of other countries has been enforced and mighty empires have emerged. The colonisation of Space has stringent and enforceable controls, and can only take place with both sides in agreement. Clearly there are many benefits to be gained where a more advanced civilisation joins hands with a developing one. Your Earth is in such a position now, and your potential to be able to join the Space Family commenced when you raised your consciousness levels. It was known that you would rapidly progress towards Space travel, and now you go back and forth to planets in your Solar System. Inter Stellar travel would be a natural development from there, but until you put down your ...

Its No Fun Not to Like Pop. (Krantz Carlock Lefebvre) Abstract Logix 2009 The boldly inventive improvisations of guitarist Wayne Krantz have long held a fascination for fans of dynamic, uncompromised music. Ex-Sideman with Steely Dan, Donald Fagen, Michael Brecker , Billy Cobham and many others, Krantz has focused on live performance for nearly two decades, holding down a residency at New York Citys 55 Bar. Now, with Krantz Carlock Lefebvre, he is returning to a recording studio to document his own music for the first time in over fifteen years . Krantz Carlock Lefebvre features Krantz as one-third of a longstanding trio that also includes virtuoso drummer Keith Carlock (Sting, Steely Dan, James Taylor) and bassist extraordinaire Tim Lefebvre (Chris Botti, Uri Caine), which was first convened in 1997. Giving this band a voice in the context of a studio is a big deal for us, Krantz says. Everything weve ever released together has been some kind of live album. Now we have the clarity and concision of the studio along for the ride. Cut live in the studio and then augmented by overdubs, the result is Krantzs most personal statement yet, more strongly rooted in composition while still rich with the improvisational nuances that make his live performances so riveting. Get ready for one of strongest musical statement of the year.
The UFO conspiracy is a very well funded disinfo campaign. Some people believe there is none, some believe they are extradimensional beings summoned by the Illuminati, and some believe they are spacemen from another planet. Whatever your belief is, you will see both sides of the coin here. And then ask your self this question: What does the Illuminati want us to believe? And what are they hiding? 99.8% don't even think there is such a thing as a conspiracy, so they are open to any kind of subliminal and indirect brainwashing, if the majority of the public believes the UFOs are spacemen from another planet, then that is the wanted result. If the majority sees an UFO as says, that's an angel or demon, then that's the desired effect. As always, you can see what the agenda is by looking at the results. Many people believe in UFOs and have never even heard about the Illuminati, I am a good example, 3 years ago I believed the US government was hiding ET technology, but I never understood why it's still to this day secret, you will understand it all once you learn about the origins of the bloodlines and what they believe in. The majority doesn't even believe 9/11 was an inside job, so trying to convince them of something much worse is close to impossible unless they dedicate their time to research everything for themselves. Sadly, hollywood and the entertainment industry in general is being used as a tool to prevent people from researching, and has ridiculed the very mention of ...

The solar eclipse of July 22, 2009 was the longest total solar eclipse of the 21st century, lasting as much as 6 minutes and 39 seconds in some places. The eclipse was part of saros series 136, like the record-setting solar eclipse of July 11, 1991. The next event from this series will be on August 2, 2027. The exceptional duration was a result of the moon being near perigee, with the apparent diameter of the moon 8% larger than the sun (magnitude 1.080) and the Earth being near aphelion where the sun appeared slightly smaller. This was the second in the series of three eclipses in a month, with the lunar eclipse on July 7 and the lunar eclipse on August 6.
We are gearing up for this years "Slip n' Bleed" on Shasta Lake in beautiful NorCal. We learned from our mistakes last year and made a bigger ramp for this years festivities, the result...more air. Check out this preview footage taken by the talented KP Nick Dunne is seen pulling some FMX tricks in the air, while Kyle Hiller, Nate Dawg, Todd Thompson, Money Mike, and the rest of the boys (and girls) throw down some big air. As for Jade, well lets just say Jade won the big air competition. Oh yeah, and the "tow in"...let's just say were not going to use the 1200cc turbocharged Honda to tow in anymore. Brazil 3 Usa 0 18 06 2009 Fifa Confederations Cup USA vs Brazil 3-0 Goals Highlights [Confederations Cup 2009] - 18.06.09 www.fifa.com Gols: Felipe Melo, Robinho, Maicon Brazil returned to their brilliant best in Tshwane/Pretoria, cruising to a 3-0 win over USA and inching closer to the semi-finals of the 2009 FIFA Confederations Cup. For the second game running, the Americans had a player sent off and Kaka, Robinho and Co were in no mood to take their foot off the accelerator as they strolled to their second straight win of these finals with goals from Felipe Melo, Robinho and Maicon. Brazil came out flying and, with USA looking overwhelmed in the centre of the pitch, Michael Bradley was forced into a pair of early fouls in dangerous territory. The second proved costly, as Maicon's swerving free kick picked out Felipe Melo. The Fiorentina man slipped his marker and nodded home at the back post with only seven minutes gone. It was an ominous start for the US, who never quite came to grips with their South American opponents, despite some positive work from Landon Donovan. Robinho was only just denied Brazil's second in the 12th minute thanks to a last-ditch lunge by Oguchi Onyewu. However, the big centre-half could do nothing in the 20th minute when a rare moment in attack for the US - their first corner kick of the game - turned into a nightmare. Donovan's short corner rolled under DaMarcus Beasley's boot and straight to a yellow shirt. The counter-attack that followed ...

Two 3-1 games won by Detroit in Detroit? OK, two 4-2 games won by Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh!!! WOOOO!!!! Depth down the center. Crosby, Malkin, Staal. All with goals tonight. The Pens PP has been unreal. Malkin gets one early. Detroit gets one late in the first, and one early in the 2nd. They get on the powerplay. They get another powerplay. Things looked bad. The Pens haven't played well in 2nd periods... Then Staal with a HUGE shorthanded goal. Game changer. Series changer? We shall see. A little later Malkin to Crosby!!!! Crosby gets his first goal of the series. Then a little later, oh my what a sick goal by Kennedy. Tape to tape passes left Osgood with no chance! The third period wasn't as exciting but it didn't need to be, the Pens protected their lead and won the game. The series is tied 2-2, a different result from last year. But the Pens are still only half way there, and still must win one at JLA. Get your mind right for game 5, you know the Pens will. LET'S GO PENS!!! LET'S GO PENS!!! It appears the only bad thing I saw tonight: www.theglobeandmail.com VOMIT.

Thu, 28 May 2009 Martin Hennecke, associate director at Tyche Group, explains why he thinks inflation will become a major problem and recommends precious metals and commodities to hedge against such inflation. Two snippets from the interview: "The banking crisis, the subprime crisis, hasn't been fixed at all, just simply transferred the problems from the banks to the books of the governments, especially in the Western countries. And now this is why the Federal Reserve has to raise, and the US government has to raise such insane amounts of money --- 1.8 trillion dollars, is likely to be the deficit for this year. That's just the lower estimate, even Obama's government came out saying that [they] likely have to revise this due to the unemployment figures..." "Inflation is going to increase very substantially as a result of all this money printing as they can't really raise all these funds that they need to raise for the bailouts and they will have to print substantial amounts of debt. Quantitative easing will get worse. As you have said, the Chinese are getting extremely nervous of this. We just had a projection from [the] Dallas Federal Reserve President, saying that the unfunded liabilities of the pension and healthcare in the US is $99 trillion. So inflation is going to be a major issue going forward, so even for cautious investors, they need to invest just to protect their wealth. Gold definitely is one of the asset classes we like..."

The V7 Classic was born during rather brief Aprilia years, when the Aprilia design team put their touch on a few new models in the Guzzi line up. Its basically a restyled Breva, and the result is a handsome, comfortable motorcycle that that pays tribute to the Guzzi heritage. Aprilia updated the Bevas two-valve 750cc engine, with fuel injection being the most significant improvement. This motor's lineage is directly connected to the iconic, air-cooled V twin that Guzzi has been producing for decades, unlike some modern classics on the market today. I'd describe the whole riding experience as relaxed, mild even, but not boring. This bike is very well behaved thanks to its linear power delivery, with plenty of mid-range grunt, and the suspension is well sorted. And then theres that beautiful exhaust note, which you can enjoy at real-world speeds. Even if you do ratchet things up a notch or two and take the bike for a spirited ride, the V7 Classic takes it all in stride. The Brembo brakes do a good job of shaving off the speed. To sum things up, the V7 Classic is fun and easy to ride. It will appeal to those who appreciate a classic look without the hassle of maintaining a classic bike. The engine delivers power in a predictable, linear way, and the ergonomics are relaxed and comfortable. This Guzzi is about classic looks and a pleasant riding experience, and I give it high marks for delivering both in a handsome well-made motorcycle.
