After rumors of last-minute dealings between Chris Browns lawyer Mark Geragos and prosecutors, Rihannas lawyer Donald Etra stated in an exclusive interview with Radar Online that "There is no deal on the table that I'm aware of, Rihanna is under subpoena to testify, and she will be there." The preliminary hearing is set to begin at 1:45 PM PT. If called to the stand her testimony is extremely important because if she refuses to testify at the trial prosecutors can use her preliminary hearing testimony. There is also a chance Mark Geragos could cross-examine her and make a point that Rihanna was the initial aggressor. Finally the pictures of Rihannas battered face, TMZ published this picture, but the pictures taken the day after are apparently more graphic and will most likely be introduced as evidence. The judge has banned TV coverage of the hearing.

Chris Brown who allegedly assaulted Rihanna after a post-Grammy party on February 8th claims he had nothing to do with the leaked topless pictures of her which surfaced on Friday. At first there were questions about their authenticity, but after her record label issued warning to a web site hosting the pictures claiming they were not their property, it now looks like in fact they are real. Well over the weekend a rumor surfaced that Chris Brown intentionally leaked the pictures, but in response his rep issued a statement to Essence.com that stated "This is both a false and defamatory, Chris has not released or 'leaked' any photos of Rihanna or anybody else for that matter."
