November 16, 2008 Cornell University put on a short parade right on Fifth Avenue. Shown are St. Patrick's Cathedral, Sak's Fifth Avenue (flagship), and Rockefeller Center, including 30 Rock. Hope you don't mind my singing long to Cohan's "Give My Regards To Broadway." This is the first week of the NYC Christmas season. Annual events like this are starting up. Lord & Taylor opened their outstanding Victorian Christmas window display last week. Soon Macy's and Sak's will open theirs as well. Today (11/19/08) I saw what I'll bet is going to be a giant Etch-A-Sketch as a Sak's window! And the Rockefeller Center Tree is up and being decorated now, for a lighting on Wednesday, December 3. My background in NYC traditions makes me the right choice to be your guide through our town. Singles and couples on the heated pedicab. Small groups in several pedicabs together. Large groups in charter buses, which I can charter for you. Come and see the best of what our city has to offer.
