Hello! I am Luana Ianara Rubini Ruiz, I am sixteen years old. I live in Rio Claro, São Paulo State, Brazil. This is my video of appliance to International Youth Science & Engineering Camp. Here I intend to show you the reasons why I want to participate in this event and why I think I should be selected. Well, this year I had the experience of participating for the first time in a science and engineering fair, and that was FEBRACE. It was far beyond amazing for plenty of reasons: first because of the knowledge I acquired, in the most varied fields, by presenting my project and seeing other participants works, too, and also because of the number of friends I made. The coolest thing about it is that interacting in FEBRACE was a way of exchanging cultures, since Brazil is a big country and there were people from everywhere there, even from other South American countries. And I cannot forget that being at FEBRACE improved my communication skills, and what I believe to be the most important benefit of participating in such a fair: sowed the seed of persisting, of going on, of wanting to learn more, of chasing advancement, in me. Because we all know the world goes round moved by knowledge, by science, by research. And I want to contribute to make the world go round, I want to bring good things to people by making science.
