November 7th,1997 I shyly looked down at the colorful floor as I walked into my new classroom. It was filled with many different colors and signs. I couldnt read them all because I didnt know how to read that wellI always got made fun of for it. Mrs. Mitchells hands were on the shoulders and she brought me in front of the class. My eyes were still glued to the ground. Everyone, please say hello to our new student, in the 1st grade, Christofer Ingle! Her voice was really high. It made me want to punch her. I slowly looked up and the girls and boys as they said hi. Then I quickly looked back down when I saw a few boys laughing at me. I didnt know whymy mommy picked out my clothes this morning; a light blue and dark green polo shirt that was buttoned up the second button, my first new pair of blue jeans, and my lucky sneakers that light up. My hair was brushed neatly and my teeth were pearly white. I was wearing a red and blue sweater and I clutched my Rugrats lunchbox filled with all sorts of goodies my mommy packed for me. I had my necklace on. My grandpa gave it to me for my birthday! It used to be his. I havent taken it off since I got it. You can take a seat right behind Spencer there. She pointed to a small boy with black hair and brown eyes. He had freckles under his eyes. He was wearing a light blue and white striped t-shirt and black pants. He had the same shoes I had but mine were black and his were dark blue. He smiled at me and looked behind him at the empty seat ...
Kurt Kelly with story of Artist Rudi Berden Produced, Written & Directed by Michiel Thomas Host Voice Over by Kurt Kelly Echo Park, just outside downtown LA, is a perfect place for people who want to escape from the hectic city life. As a result Rudi lost his job. But it didnt take a long time for the Belgian to find a solution. Drawing did not only give Rudi a career. He also met the love of his life on his job. Just like his friends, Rudi hopes Obama will become the next president of the US. However, he is not sure that will happen.
