This is aa really brief and fast overview (without sound) of a student using our virtual learning environment, designed for schools world-wide with it's multi-lingual support. There are different layouts for teachers, administrators and parents to provide them with the tools they need. This VLE works in any web-browser and is accessible from any computer with an internet connection. It has full audio speech support to accompany the large buttons. The demo is extremely brief and skips across a few of the coolest features including the file manager, multi-lingual support, file creating and sharing, special education needs support. This self-paced (approximately four-hour), web-based technical training instructs the student on all versions of Polycom's SpectraLink 8000 Wireless Telephones. The course includes an overview of wireless LAN technology, SpectraLink 8000 system features and functionality, Telephony Gateway and native IP interfaces, configuration details, installation, and troubleshooting practices. The web-based SpectraLink 8000 Installation and Maintenance course contains four learning modules, four interactive lab exercises, and a certification test. The sophisticated custom graphics and interactive configuration labs dynamically illustrate all aspects of SpectraLink 8000 products and system design. The course structure encourages knowledge retention through student participation. Upon completion of the class, students will be familiar with all aspects of the SpectraLink 8000 system and be able and certified to install, troubleshoot and maintain SpectraLink 8000 Wireless Telephones. (An email address is required for each individual student and must be supplied at time of order. The email address will be used to process individual registration allowing each student to receive detailed registration and login instructions in an emailed confirmation letter.)
Uloop recently launched a new home page and login system and I would like to take a minute to walk you through it. Our old login certainly wasn't complex, but we wanted to simplify the process even further. So for the redesign we cut out all the cruft and focused on communicating what Uloop is, and how to start. We also took a new approach to registrations & accounts. The thing is, every student is already part of the campus community, so it doesn't really make sense to register. So now, when you're logging into the Uloop for the first time, all we ask is that you verify your .edu email address. Uloop thrives by staying focused on students, so only those with a school email address are allowed in. I mean, do you really want some old creep you've never met show up for your carpool? We keep it real, in a campus community you can trust. As a returning user, you are prompted for your password, and if you click the "Remember Me" checkbox next time you'll be logged in automatically and never see this page again. We're making changes like this all the time and I'm excited to share them along the way.
