Bo Bice 3 (Sugar Money/Saguaro Road) "I feel like 3 is my strongest record to date," Bo Bice said recently. "Its a plethora of sounds that show who I really am. There's something for everyone; country, soul, rockn roll...it's like your favorite pair of jeans, it just feels right." But 3 is more than just an album title for Bice. He and his wife Caroline welcomed their third child, Ean Jacob, this past January. After a few health scares, Bos had a clean bill of health for three years. And, of course, 3 is his third album, a record filled with soulful, gospel-tinged country rock that represents the maturation of a songwriter and performer. (Did we say maturation? Dont forget, its also Dale Earnhardts number, says Bice, laughing. Thats another good reason to call it 3. Besides, you cant name your fifth album 3 people will wonder if you can count.) For the amount of time hes been in the public eye (records, TV, movies, a chart-topping single), 3 finally showcases who the real Bo Bice is. The album, recorded in his adopted hometown of Nashville, features an array of influences, from Jim Croce, Van Morrison, James Taylor, Gram Parsons to the Black Crowes and Lenny Kravitz (most notably on Get on and Ride, the records most rockin track). And those sounds arent on accident performers on the album include Crowes drummer Steve Gorman and keyboardist AJ Croce, the son of Jim Croce. The album was entirely written or co-written by Bice, with additional production by D. Scott Miller ...

A guitar video review of the new Saguaro Tombstone T-style guitar. A thinner body and a metallic plate inside the body are the main differentiators for this fine guitar. Light, well-balanced, sonically pleasing, and with a mild relic finish. Comfortable neck and pickups that will deliver the Tele-thang perfectly. Fine guitar! Played through a Carr Mercury amp.

Summers in Arizona are perfect for wakeboarding! We headed out to Saguaro Lake in Mesa Arizona for some fun in the sun and a day on the boat! Scott gave Caden a wake boarding lesson. Everything was great until the handle broke and the rope got stuck in the motor. Brad had to dive under the boat to cut it out. Good thing we had a spare rope in the truck! Anyway, once we had the new rope, we were back out on the water enjoying the day wakeboarding and swimming in the lake!

This is a demo in pastel. I show how I make three small paintings in one. I used soft pastels on Colourfix sanded paper. Total time of the painting was probably about six hours, two on each small painting.
Well, on this my 4th hike in the Tucson desert, I had the most wildlife encounters. I saw lizards/salamanders/geckos (whatever the heck they are), a prairie dog or chipmunk or meerkat or something like that, I'll let you be the judge, rabbits, more desert rats and a pair of what looked like white-tailed deer. The deer were too scared and too fast to get on video, but trust me, they were there! And there is something that you will NOT see in this video, the part where I got LOST for about 2 hours. I was nearly to the point where I thought I was going to have to break down and call for help (I had the pamphlet that the Park people gave me with their contact numbers on it), but I decided to go another 15-20 minutes and try to find a trailmarker, which after about several hundred feet I did come across. I don't know what the heck happened, I guess I went out WAY too far to begin with, then when I tried to come back the same way that I went out, I missed that trail, and ended up WAY, WAY in the heck off the main course, still on a people trail, but NOT on a main trail, and after about an hour I was getting kind of worried. Y'know, I'm really, really good with street/city maps, but I guess when it comes to hiking / trail maps, I suck!!! Anyways, I finally made it back, but you will not see the last 3 hours of the hike on this video, as I was really hurrying along, going up and down, trying to find a way back to the car. I know, I'ma goofball!
