ST. PAUL, MN (June 26, 2010) -- The St. Paul Saints were two outs away from winning the first game of a double header, but a three-run homer from a guy that didn't start the game for the Wichita Wingnuts was the deciding runs as the Saints lost 3-1 in game one of a double header on Saturday night at Midway Stadium. Both starting pitchers threw well, but the Saints struck first in the fourth inning when Brent Krause doubled with two outs. The base hit was number 348 of his career tying Adam Olow's franchise mark. Gerard Haran followed with an RBI single to give the Saints a 1-0 lead. It was the only run starter Sean Teague allowed going 5.0 innings allowing one run on four hits while walking two and striking out four. Saints starter Ryan Morse was even better tossing 5.1 shutout innings allowing seven hits while striking out two. The lead, however, didn't hold up. In the seventh with Joe D'Alessandro on the mound Michael Thompson led off with a single and Steve Pearson was hit by a pitch. Michael Sharp tried laying down a sacrifice bunt, but D'Alessandro fielded it and threw out Thompson at third. The very next hitter Chad Rothford, who only entered the game because second baseman Jose Duran was injured in the second inning, blasted a two strike pitch over the right field wall, his first homer of the season. The Saints didn't make any noise in the bottom of the seventh as Wingnuts closer Justin Dowdy struck out the side.

We are life long die hard Saints fans and we finally got a Super Bowl. This is a video of our reaction during the game! When Tracy Porter intercepted manning pass the whole house erupted! Jeremy Shockey's touchdown and Peire Thomas was a huge moment! But the on side kick at half time was the game changer!
Drew Brees and the Saints O-Line showed up at Lucy's after the Victory Parade Tuesday. They treated us, their beloved fans, to some champagne and then Drew sent the place into a frenzy when for the first time he revealed what is said in their pre-game chant, leading us all in an impromptu rendition.
www.watch-live-nfl.com New Orleans Saints vs Indianapolis Colts 31-17 Highlights - 44 Super Bowl 2010 Super Bowl XLIV was the 44th Super Bowl game that was played on February 7, 2010, pitting the American Football Conference (AFC) champion Indianapolis Colts against the National Football Conference (NFC) champion New Orleans Saints. The New Orleans Saints defeated the Indianapolis Colts by a score of 31-17, earning their first Super Bowl win. The venue was the Sun Life Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida, and the game's kickoff took place at 6:28 pm EST (23:28 UTC) on February 7, 2010, the latest calendar date for a Super Bowl yet. The game features the Saints' first Super Bowl appearance since their founding in 1967, while it is the fourth time a Colts franchise team has appeared, since their founding in 1953 as the Baltimore Colts. In their three previous Super Bowl appearances, all also in Miami, the Baltimore/Indianapolis Colts have lost once in 1969 and won twice in 1971 and 2007. The Saints entered the game with a 13-3 record for the 2009 regular season, compared to the Colts' 14-2 record. In the playoff games, both teams had a 1st round bye. The Colts entered the Super Bowl off of 203 and 3017 victories, while the Saints advanced with scores of 4514 and 3128 (in overtime), defeating last year's runners up the Arizona Cardinals in their first game. The Pittsburgh Steelers, as defending champions, failed to make the playoffs based on tiebreakers. It was the first time ...

When a football team loses a big game fans love to be able to poin their finger at someone to blame for it, like one person is a whole football team. In this NFL blog The Mighty Dynasty's King Drell is going to help everyone decide who they really should blame for the Minnesota Vikings losing to the New Orleans Saints in the 2010 NFC Championship game. This NFL blog breaks down for possible suspects that he's heard fans blaming for the Vikings vs Saints game like Brett Favre, Adrian Peterson, Brad Childress, and even the Officiating. Brett Favre had some picks. Adrian Peterson had some fumbles. Brad Childress had some questionable play calling. The refs had some questionable calls, or lack of calls. Losing is a team effort but for the people who want to make the arguement we hope this video will help out. Please leave your feedback on which one person, or many even more than one person you feel is responsible for the Vikings Loss. Either way Congradulations to the New Orleans Saints for making it to the Super Bowl. www.themightydynasty.com http TMD Bitches!!!

This is an awesome parade I stumbled upon today in New Orleans before the big game, the last minute when the crowd starts chanting is the highlight, but the whole thing was pretty great. I'm a lifelong Giants fan, not a Saints fan, but I'm pretty happy for the folks in New Orleans after the rough time they've had.

Shaun Suisham ruins yet another game for the redskins with this missed 23-yard field goal that would have put the Redskins on top of the 11-0 saints 33-23 with only 2 minutes left in the game. But he misses it, and allows the saints to get a touchdown and tie the game 30-30 and then win 33-30 in overtime. SHAUN SUISHAM IS CRAP!!!! the redskins seriously need a new kicker. the saints should be 11-1. Please rate, subscribe, and comment if you want Suisham off the team!...
