Firstly, thanks once again to Paul for joining and supplying these interesting chilies. So what are they? We know for sure that this is a Trinidad Scorpion mixed with another variety... Paul has a Trinidad plant that produced a couple of normal 'as you would expect' looking Trinidad's but then sprouted another branch where these mixed ones started to grow and from that point all chilies on the plant turned out like these ones.... Now you could say that they are the same but just a different shape... But these are certainly not pure-bred Trinidad Scorpions. The shape is more like a Naga or a Bhut with bubbly skin and the telll tale signs of a Naga (plus you can taste it). The Burn is different too, by far.... All the mouth is burning and the throat has the Trini-Kick but with Naga overtones.... This one has us a little baffled... If anyone can shed some light with these or if you have any ideas... Please let us know... So what about food? I WILL be using these in curries, I'm planning on cooking a belter of a Vindaloo on Tuesday, may even let you know how that is and do a review.....
