In football you have 11 guys out on the field in very close proximity to one another. If your uniform is to complex, the amount of people presented in the uniform will look like a jumbled mess. Also the field that they play on is extremely large so a bold uniform looks a lot better from a distance.

My Top 10 best NFL helmets. 10.Detroit Lions- Cool colors, and style. 9.Jacksonville Jaguars- Everything looks good in black, and the intimidating jaguar helps add to its rawness. 8.New Orleans Saints- Very classy yet stylish helmet. Gold/Black always looks good. 7.Philadelphia Eagles- Best green colored team behind Oregon, and the wings look rather intimidating when coming staight at you. 6.San Diego Chargers- The lightning bolt says it all. Lightning is killer. 5.St.Louis Rams- Kind of hard to hate a helmet that helps you look like a rampaging ram. 4.Houston Texans- Patroitic colors, longhorned bull, it all fits Houston. 3.Seattle Seahawks- Very cool looking helmet, the hawk also looks intimidating. 2.Washington Redskins- Reminds me of FSU, and the colors go great. 1.Pittsburgh Steelers- You know your good when you need your logo on only one side of your helmet. Plus, you can see a ton of scratches on black helmets. Also, there my favorite NFL team. There you have it. Put your voice out there and comment.
