It's a kids' song about the letter "T", but sung to the very acoustic tune of "Hey There Delilah". My kids love it. It is also sung by the actual lead singer of the PWT's (Tom Higgenson).

When Bert wonders what to do with a nearby letter L, Ernie suggests composing a "la-la-la" song which includes other L-words in the lyrics. Of course, the words each character chooses reveal a lot about their personalities... This is the old-school version that most Sesame Street fans remember from the show's early years: blank-wall scenery, spoken reactions to each L-word, and text spelled out onscreen. (The remake which aired in 2001 took place in Bert and Ernie's apartment, and included no text beyond the L itself--one fan supposes that Sesame Workshop did it this way to allow foreign-language dubs.) NOTE: According to Muppet Wiki, this clip has appeared as early as Episode 321.

This one is obviously a spoof of the song "Let It Be" by the Beatles. The group is even called "The Beetles" but of course, named after the insect.
The Beetles performing the Letter B, with a brief intro by the Count. A similar version already exists on YouTube, but this is a better quality recording with slightly different sound.

Here is my re-post of this old SS classic. I improved the picture quality and made it full frame, as well as increased the volume. This cartoon has been very popular. If anyone out there likes any of my older clips, I can improve and re-post them again. At the beginning, I hadn't quite figured out how to post a video properly. Now, there's no problem.
Good thing it wasn't one of those talking letters you sometimes see on the show.
Here is a muppet segment with a bunch of monsters admiring the letter A. Sorry I gave it away because you don't find that out until the end. Look for an early Grover and Cookie Monster. They're kind of cruel to the little guy, aren't they?
Here is a cartoon/film about the letter N. Many words begin with N & he names a few. I remember those Sesame Street books the kids put down on the bed before they went to sleep. I used to read them in my first grade classroom.
This is a classic that used to be on youtube. This guy gets annoyed with an obnoxious capital letter Q. Ah, I hate that! LOL
