The SFASU Cole Gallery in downtown Nacogdoches celebrated the opening of a new photography exhibit. The show is an interactive photography and oral history exhibit with a focus on mental illness. The artist is Michael Nye, most recently of San Antonio, Texas.
Two SFA professors started a project with volunteer students to mark, unmarked graves at the Zion Hill Baptist Cemetery in Nacogdoches, TX. The graveyard was an Afro-American cemetery dating back to 1879 that had fallen into disrepair.
