This was my initial reaction to the Shaniya Davis story. For those of you who may be unfamiliar with the story; A 5-year-old North Carolina girl went missing in early November. Sadly her body was found a week later. Officials later found out further details into Shaniya's disappearance and that's what most of my reaction is based on. I don't know if you have been watching the news the past view weeks but she was sold by her mother and was raped and murdered. This story touched my heart because it was a really sad story. I couldn't just watch the evening news and hear about her and not do something. I KNOW ONLY GOD can change what's wrong with this world, but until HE does I will do my best to change it. I first ask everyone to please pray for her father and family as this crime comes to a shock. We never have anything like this happen here in fayetteville and in the past 3 weeks we have had horrible things happen here. For those of you who do not know who Shaniya Davis or heard about it, the story can be followed here. Her body was found yesterday, she was raped then strangled. Her mother sent her off into the world of child prostution. What makes this story even harder to beleive, Shaniya father wanted to give his daughter the chance to get to know her mother so he brought her to her mother, and only after 3 weeks of being with her mother she was murdered.
