Kedar Dighe, Counsel for First Global says that the new SAT order allows Shankar Sharma to trade in the markets till the final hearing of appeal.
Market regulator SEBI on Friday debarred First Global Stock Broking director Shankar Sharma from participating in the securities market for one year for his alleged fictitious trading in 10 securities that led to a crash in 2001 on BSE. SEBI's decision will be effective four weeks after communication of this order to Sharma, as directed by the Bombay High Court. The charge against Sharma was that First Global, in which he was a director, and Vrudhi Confinvest India, which was 100- per cent owned by him and another accused Devina Mehra, indulged in creation of large artificial volumes in 10 securities.

During his career spanning more than 35 year he released over 20 Bhajan albums [1] One of the most recognized voices among all bhajan singers, He is considered to be world's premier Hindu bhajan singer and a religious icon. Popularly known as Dadaji among his fans, Hari Om Sharan commanded immense love and respect from billions of Hindus and Indians around the world. An entire generation of Indians grew up listening Dadaji's magical voice. He is considered as "God of bhajan".He became a professional singer in 1973, singing his first album for HMV He does sing with simplicity and understatement and does nothing to exaggerate. That is the beauty of his bhajans. His pronunciation and enunciation is crystal clear and his feel is unmistakable.
