In the 17& 1800's Charles Finney authored the altar call "technique". Although unbiblical, it is commonly used throughout many Christian churches. This excerpt is from a written passage by Pastor (Dr.) Jack Hughes. I created this song with inspiration to make a gospel hip hop track. I then found that sometimes pictures speak louder than words. I tried to capture sin in a variety of forms and show the consequences. At the end no matter what you can always dedicate your life to Christ and see a new sunrise in your life. That's what the pictures show. I really wanted to create the beat from scratch so I used my MPC500 to make the drum pattern using pop drums. I then created a chord progression with the choir voices and the piano. The bass makes the song rich and then the vocal sample was from another youtube video of Joel Osteen. I really like the final product because it's purpose is to tell anyone who is searching for answers, that GOD can provide through His son Jesus Christ. I hope you enjoy.

Ever since Paul Washer came out with his Shocking Message, many people have taken what he said and gone above and beyond what he meant. Way too many people now are making videos and saying the sinners prayer is evil. It isn't the words that should be at issue but the heart of the person who says these words, and this is what's not being talked about.
There is no such thing as fast food salvation. The only way toy get saved and into heaven is though a constant relationship of obedience to Christ.
There is no special prayer that can save you. Only a true relationship with Jesus can save you if you have earnestly repented and live a life free from sin.

Does the Sinner's Prayer save? It is possible that one can be saved during such a prayer. However, the "sinner's prayer" usually implies that one is saved by their choice (decisional regeneration). In other words, the Arminian says that God patiently awaits on you to make your decision before He makes His. God saves.

The most common response people give to the question of, "What did you do to be saved?" is, "I asked Jesus to come into my heart..." In other words, they put their eternal salvation on saying a "sinner's prayer" that isn't even in the Bible. I'm so sure its not in the Bible that I'll give $1000 to anyone who can find the sinner's prayer in the Bible!
