PLAYLIST: www.youtube.com Date: 03-22-10 Host: George Noory Guests: David Darling, Greg Hunter Author and astronomer David Darling discussed why he believes that extraterrestrial life is astrobiological fact and for persuasive evidence of microbial life, we need look no further than our celestial neighbor, Mars. The Viking missions of 1976, found evidence of life in the Martian soil, but it was ignored due to faulty readings of a spectrometer that didn't find any carbon molecules, he detailed. More recently, evidence from the Phoenix Mars Lander showed UMOs (unidentified moving objects) in the soil, which he suspects are single-celled organisms. Under the soil, there could be a bigger community of life forms, perhaps something on the order of worms, he added. Life could also exist elsewhere in our solar system. While the surface of Venus may be too hot to sustain life, "we do know that particles exist in the atmosphere of Venus, similar in size to bacte ria," and these could actually be life forms that thrive about 30 miles above the ground in the dense "cloud deck," he said. Further, there are underground oceans on moons like Europa that might harbor life, as well as Saturn's moon, Titan, which has hydrocarbon lakes. Interestingly, there is a hydrocarbon lake on Earth, and "extremophiles" have been found living there, he noted. There is also the possibility that life could be based on a structure other than carbon- "maybe it's based on silicon, maybe it could be based on ...
email@example.com The Great Storm of Perth hit us all by surpise on the 22/03/2010 From sunshine and humid weather, (around 28 degrees) the storm rolled in within 45 minutes giving little preparation to everyone. Flash floods, Hail the size of golf balls, thunder, lightning, Insane winds and Rain by the gallons. The storm hit us in two phases, the first was the hail, and the second was the wind. Disaster all around perth with window companies and insurance in for a long week. but while all this was happening... all we could think about was how much FUN we could have on this CRAZY day!
The clouds minutes before the storm were very erratic and dark. The wind gusted from quite calm to 50 knots. Half the garden vanished in a few minutes. It rained and only big hail fell. The biggest hail was the size of golf balls (cliche I know). Hail was bouncing off walls and rolling around. Anything metal got dents, including my car. Skylights and pergola sheets were broken.

This video is intended for those new to concealed carry. If you already have a permit and pistol, it won't reveal anything new to you. I wanted to discuss my thougthts on gun size and the compromises each one has. I'll discuss my thoughts based on when I was shopping for a concealed carry gun. Whether you prefer a larger cailber and frame (like a FNP 45 / Colt 1911 ) or a medium size gun (like the Ruger SR9, Glock 17, or the FNP 9 ) or a smaller compact gun (like a Keltec, Ruger LCR, LCP, or Glock 26, Walther PPK / PPS ). There isn't one size for everyone, so shop around and pick the size you'll carry everyday. Just keep in mind the compromises each one requires. Maybe you'll have the opportunity to shoot several and pick the best one for you.
Hello wolf people :) - this is my third video now for a short series I'm doing documenting my hybrid cub's growth and I'm also answering question regarding training, animal psychology, etc. My cub "Gambit" is now 22 weeks old and is already almos the size of our larger German Shepard who is actually the largest German Shepard I've seen, and I've seen a lot! He's a big, beautiful, and healthy dog. Wolf-dogs are a different breed and that must be kept in mind. I urge you to take the time to research the animal before even considering owning one. There's a great book that I read called "Wolfdogs A - Z!" and it's a perfect place to start. Remember that they're not entirely like your other dogs while at the same time they're by no means the little monsters a lot of people have made them out to be. Wolfdogs train VERY well, they can be house-broken, heel, leash trained, etc. They're one of the most intelligent of all the canines - normally operating in a hierarchy with other animals and even your house hold. But don't worry, you're always gonna be the alpha and you're always gonna be the center of their world.Personally, I prefer them over dogs. Remember to give your animals their parvo shots and heartworm medication!!!!!!!!!!!! take care :) IMPORTANT: IF you're interested in owning a wolfdog may I please suggest that you read this book? You can get it used for practically a few $'s and it's just a great introduction on wolfdogs, how to raise them, train them, and of course ...

Part 1 of Omaha Beach on the Allied side. "WESTERN FRONT. A battalion of misfit American soldiers becomes horribly lost during the mass confusion of D-Day. After failing to find their assigned landing beach, the Allied destroyer and its flotilla of landing craft decide to assault the nearest beach and hope for the best. Unbeknownst to them, they arrive at the beach designated Omaha, where the German defenders had already killed off the original American attack force earlier that morning." Part 1 of 2: Every shooter in the US should own a Ruger 10/22 (and I wish my overseas viewers could too!). It is the everyman's, all-around .22 rifle. It shocks me when I find one that doesn't! That's because it provides immense enjoyment and capabilities for such a low cost. Even out-of-box, the venerable 10/22 is accurate, very reliable, tough, ergonomic, lightweight, easy to use and carry, and most of all, fun! It continues to be an extremely successful Ruger design, having sold well over 5 million copies (and still going strong). It has out-sold and out-survived many other .22 designs to include the Remington Nylon 66. The 10/22 has always represented amazing value. That's because for a reasonable price you are getting a rifle that will probably last your entire lifetime. My circa 1976 10/22 (shown) was given to me as a young man by my Dad and has adventured with me in the swamps of Florida and Alabama, the woods of Virginia, Montana, and Washington, the plains of North Dakota, and in the deserts of Utah, eastern Oregon, Arizona, and Idaho. And it's still going strong! There are fancier and equally as-fun .22 rifles available but the 10/22s excel in most areas (and several cool Distributor Exclusive 10/22s abound, like the shown French walnut stocked TALO version) and provide unmatched versatility for the user. The 10/22 has a modular, simple design that makes upgrades to the trigger, bolt, magazine, stock, barrel, and sighting systems easy (many options shown in this ...

Get that AR-15 out of the closet and start shooting again. The CMMG .22 LR Conversion Kit for your AR-15 works. Quality is high and in my extensive testing of the unit I found it to be reliable, accurate, and fast shooting. Costing around $200 (subject to change) for the conversion bolt plus around $35 for the 25 rd Black Dog magazine, this is a high value system. That's because it essentially gives you a whole new .22 rifle for both recreational and training use, enabling you to use the expensive optics, stocks, lights, slings, grips, trigger, and other mods that make your AR-15 so fun to shoot. A Ruger 10/22 remains a fun and excellent training tool but its hard to beat shooting the actual platform if you are striving to improve your AR-15 skills. With minimal recoil and good reliability, the CMMG .22 conversion is also an unintimidating and fun way to introduce new shooters to AR-15 use and most of its functions. The kit, as it comes from vendor Brownells (www.brownells.com search "CMMG"; also available at Botachtactical.com in 2009), comes with one 27 round Blackdog-brand polycarbonate magazine. This magazine features high quality construction, a bolt hold open follower, take-apart construction, and seemingly high durability. Additionally these mags have the same size and weight of standard AR mags, which reinforces a standard muscle memory and allows the use your mag carriers while shooting. Nutnfancy Tips for CMMG conversion use generally use only high impulse ...

There are several videos circulating showing a comparison of the largest stars. I like these kind of things, and I wanted to try one myself. Probably because I also watched "Cosmos" by Carl Sagan as a kid. Actually my first Youtube upload. Hope you like it...
The "Crickett" .22 single shot rifle is an American classic. The lightweight and affordable Crickett combines excellent build quality, fast handling, a good trigger, a simple battery of arms, excellent peep sights, a good looking and functional stock, and compact size that fits kids perfectly. It Is the perfect training rifle to teach your small shooters responsible and safe gun handling, trigger and sight picture control, and ammunition conservation... all while having fun. Produced by the Keystone Sporting Arms Company in Milton, PA, the gun is backed by a company that has shown superior customer service with its customers. The diminutive Crickett rifle comes in a wide variety stocks, finishes, and even is offered in a full sized adult version, the Model 300 (all models and styles subject to change of course). Shown in the video is the Model 252 Crickett rifle and it has served my family well ("Chipmunk" branded .22 rifles are also very similar). These guns make memorable gifts items for your family members and are affordable heirloom items. Accuracy, durability, and ease of use are all superb. Surprisingly, this is a fun gun to shoot and costs next to nothing to do so. Bolt actuation adds to the fun and simple plunger bolt is effective. There are other single shot rifle options but the Crickett rifle is my favorite and has my highest recommendation. . /////////////Nutnfancy Likeability Scale: 10 of 10
The diminutive Walther P22 .22 pistol is a fun plinker and I consider it a good choice as a recreational pistol. Shooters with small hands will appreciate its ergonomics, easily accessed controls, ease of loading (both mags and slide racking), and smaller grip. Other upsides include tactical looks, more blast and recoil for a .22 makes it funner, versatile configurations (can swap out barrels easily), and light rail. But make sure you are realistic about the gun's capabilities. While some may choose this as a backup defensive pistol, there are better choices that are more durable, more reliable, more compact, and lighter (like the Beretta Model 21A if you must go with a .22 pistol). Also this is not a target pistol, and as noted in the shooting session vid of the gun, it is hard to shoot well due to its coarse combat sights, small size, and relative lightweight (Model 22007 is 17.2 oz). A Ruger 22/45 or Browning Buckmark will probably be a better choice for most shooters in their acquisition of their first .22 pistol. Those full size plinkers are more durable, easier make hits with, have a longer sighting radius, and their extra weight (around 35 oz) is welcome on the range (just like a good 1911 that can shoot fast and stay on target). I find in informal competitions using my 22/45 that P22 users just can't keep up, solely due to guns' capabilities (and not skill). But when properly fed and maintained, the little P22 still cranks the rounds out with surprising speed and ...

Again, the distance to target is 200 yards. The target is an orange ram shaped metallic silhouette made of steel about the size of a mans hand. When hit it swings back and a metallic snap can be heard if you listen carefully. The ammo is just cheap Federal bulk pack .22 long rifle hollow point sold by Wal-mart in 550 round cartons. Muzzle velocity is about 1280 FPS. Not the most accurate .22 ammo but not bad at all for what little it costs. There is a little bit of variable wind and even that has a noticeably detrimental effect on the projectile's flight at that distance.

www.informedtrades.com A lesson on how to trade the RSI for traders and investors using technical analysis in the stock market, futures market and forex market. In our last lesson we looked at 3 different ways that the MACD indicator can be traded. In today's lesson we are going to look at a class of indicators which are known as Oscillators with a look at how to trade one of the more popular Oscillators the Relative Strength Index (RSI). An oscillator is a leading technical indicator which fluctuates above and below a center line and normally has upper and lower bands which indicate overbought and oversold conditions in the market (an exception to this would be the MACD which is an Oscillator as well). One of the most popular Oscillators outside of the MACD which we have already gone over is the Relative Strength Index (RSI) which is where we will start our discussion. The RSI is best described as an indicator which represents the momentum in a particular financial instrument as well as when it is reaching extreme levels to the upside (referred to as overbought) or downside (referred to as oversold) and is therefore due for a reversal. The indicator accomplishes this through a formula which compares the size of recent gains for a particular financial instrument to the size of recent losses, the results of which are plotted as a line which fluctuates between 0 and 100. Bands are then placed at 70 which is considered an extreme level to the upside, and 30 which is ...
Hello there! I made this video to John Prine's 'In A Town This Size' because the song is about small towns, and, well, we are living currently in Tofino, which is pretty small. Also, my girlfriend comes from Sointula, an island off of the north end of Vancouver Island, and THAT is a small community!!! But a really great one, so if you have never been, it is a must see! Anyways, John Prine is a favourite of her family, and most of all her mother. So, please enjoy the video!!!
Anybody who went to the Airpower Over Hampton Roads airshow witnessed history. For the first time, the general public was shown the F-22 Raptor's full demo. It was a wonderful surprise as the demos were not supposed to begin until 2008. In any case, what you see here is a 68000 lb airplane doing maneuvers you wouldn't expect to see from an aircraft 1/10th the size. Download the mpeg here: semperapollo.com

As the debate on superskinny models rages on, your thoughts please on whether it's really possible to have a 22-inch waist - naturally. Are female stick insects all hiding a secret life of anorexia, laxatives and lettuce leaves? Or is that assumption demonising all those who are genuinely superslim by nature?
