After getting my laptop back after the awful recall I noticed that it does not charge after it reaches 80%. They didn't take my charger nor my battery so I know my battery is working fine but I cannot find the setting where they've changed it. I guess they put it on this setting to ensure their batteries don't wear down when they do testing on my laptop and have it plugged in all day long. It was nice to have a full battery because I can use my laptop for about 6 hours before I need to charge it. If I know I'll have it plugged in all day then I'll set it to 80% but would like to know how so I can do it when I need to. I cannot seem to find the solution online and would rather not have to ring Sony. PS. I'll post my recall experience another time - it was sent back twice by the way and I wasn't pleased! Thanks in advance.

PS3 Error code 8001050f info ****I ADVISE YOU NOT TURN ON YOUR PS3 OR ALL YOUR TROPHY RELATED GAMES WILL CORRUPT**** ONLY HAPPENING WITH PHAT VERSIONS **UPDATE** Sony confirmed that this is a problem with the internal clock. I wouldn't advise anyone to do this; but apparently you can reset the clock by removing the motherboard battery, disconnecting and reconnecting.. **UPDATE** SCEE Employee here leaking confidential information. - READ. UPDATE FACT: Sony can't fix this problem, they don't even know where to start, hence why they are waiting till midnight to see if the date pushes over to 1st march on the PS3 and fixes itself...that's why you are rarely being updated because they have NOTHING. IF that fail's, there will be a mass recall setting Sony back billions, you will have to wait up to 1 year to receive back your ps3, and will have to pay if void.
UPDATE: After roughly 2 months I got the phone back. The problem was fixed under the warranty. The screen had to be replaced. SonyEricsson call centre denied that they had ever heard of this problem. I talked to 3 people telling me this exactly same thing. BUT-When callin SonyEricssons main repeair center in Norway they said that this hardware problem was on about the entire first shipment to Norway. The service person also said that SonyEricsson by now way was NOT aware of this problem. SO: SonyEricsson lied to me on the phone several times. AND: if this hardware problem was on the entire first shipment, then there is probably lots of phones out there that havent been repaired. SonyEricsson should recall all the phones that they KNOW have this issue. These phones are a "time bomb" waiting to break down. But, they of course will not do this, because they are trying to avoid any responsibility and the associated costs ;).. Way to go SonyEricsson.!!! OLD TEXT: Do not buy a sony ericsson aino unless you want very much trouble and wasted money. Since getting my SonyEricsson Aino in december, paying $600 of norwegian Crowns, the phone has never been completely functioning for more than a couple of hours. Firstly the problems manifested like this: Within 1-2-3 hours the touchscreen stopped working, though it would still power off the screen. I expected new, better software upgrades to arrive, which would fix the problem, and decided to wait. Recently I decided to do the ...

Google Internet Summit 2009: The State of the Internet May 5, 2009 Security Session panelists are Whit Diffie, Steve Crocker, Chris DiBona, Eric Grosse, and Howard Schmidt. On May 5 and 6, 2009, in Mountain View, we brought together Googlers and leaders from academia and the corporate world for a 2-day summit to discuss the state of the global Internet. The goal of the summit was to collect a wide range of knowledge to inform Google's future plans--from product development and market reach to users' expectations and our ability to keep the Internet open yet secure. More than 30 speakers and moderators led discussions around 8 topics: Networks; Wireless and Sensor Technologies; Security; Standards; Applications; Democracy, Law, Policy and Regulation; Search and Cloud Computing; and The Future. Eric Schmidt, who offered some remarks, expressed optimism that the challenges we face with governments' walling off access to the Internet can be overcome technologically by building networks that are transparent, scalable, and open.
This is the infamous Hewlett Packard Pavilion ZD 8000 Laptop. This HP Entertainment Notebook PC is the Worst laptop I have ever owned since 1998. In late 2005 it cost me $ 1560. ( I remember I did a serious laptop selecting search) but unfortunately I decided to safe $200 , gave HP a vote of trust and buy this laptop instead other brands I have owned before. It was a terrible mistake. Many users worldwide have experienced Lot of problems with this HP Laptop, and hundred of claims have been sent to HP. HP does not want to recognize the responsibility in the poor design of this HP equipment that was top of the line only 3 years ago. Overheating due inadequate and poor desing laptop ventilation or cooling system. Battery Pack overheating problems forced in HP to recall bateries in 2008. Display problems showing vertical lines on Screen If you Google: " HP ZD8000 vertical lines " you will get a huge amount of desperate users trying to solve the situation. The purpose of this video is to ask ZD8000 owners around the world to join internet protests and claims that have been experienced with this laptop:Uploading videos in Youtube, sending emails to HP, forcing HP to recall defective computers. If you are thinking of buying a laptop, please do not waste your money in Brands that are not responsible of their mistakes.
