FS# 158, FSV# 146. This is the State University of New York's branch of their university system. You would expect a bison as part of their logo, but it is cattle instead (Bull). Buffalo's fight song is a victory march; however, it will be played at anytime. This vid has the updated words of the song. If you feel like singing the other version, annotations of the traditional version will pop up soon at the second time the music is played. To compare, there is not much difference in lyrics, but it is significant. Yes, expect the music and lyrics to be FAST. Also do note on the hyphenated "Buff-a-lo" at the end of the lyrics; There, you would not sing with what the band plays. The "Buff" is the same note the band plays, the "a" is one note lower, and the "lo" is two notes higher than "a," so you would be more like "Buff-a- LO", where the last syllable is stressed, and is indicated by the change in note. This is the video that launched Judd Laurie Productions, Ltd. Co. into what it is today. In the spring of 2004, while completing my internship in the Exercise Nutrition, BS program at SUNY Buffalo, I approached the director and chair of the program with regard to my interest in producing a promotional video from a student's perspective. Long story short, they loved the idea, gave me a small budget and the rest is history. They currently use this video on the Exercise Science, BS program website and as a DVD presentation to incoming and perspective exercise science, physical therapy, occupational therapy, athletic training and nutrition applicants. The footage was shot primarily around the South Campus with the exception of the UB Bulls Stadium and the varsity weight room at the North Campus.
