Observed on a human scale, the very basic rhythm of every day is sunset and sunrise, we go in to bed and out of bed. A rhythm, so elementary and universal and at the same time so intimate. This is an impression of Sync' by Max Hattler and 'Bedrooms' bij Nelleke Koop with music by Dennis van Tilburg. These were part of the 'Time, what makes us tick?' installation in the Open Mind series of Pavlov E-Lab, presented on the Noorderzon Performing Arts festival 2010. In this edition Max and Nelleke collaborated with chronobiologist Martha Merrow and physicist Eric Bergshoeff in their mutual exploration of the theme of Time.

D8 Name: Maya Age: 12 Spirit or Human: Human Personality: Loud, girly, sweet and naïve. One of those pink, sassy girls. Is a chef, and loves to cook. Sadly, she cant do anything except bake, unless you want some burnt up crap. She adores baking, and likes to make cupcakes for other kids, but is capable of drawing intricate and beautiful patterns on pastries with the icing. Has dyslexia, and cant read or write, so was always teased in school. She also stutters, although she has a lot to say, she cant get it out right. Has insanely strong opinions about lots of things, and always takes the side which allows more freedom and peace. Is obsessed with washing hands cause shes a total clean freak, LOL. She wears latex gloves everywhere. Mum& dad are both alive and well, though really could care less about her. They even have trouble remembering her name. Easy to make friends with because of her bright personality, but no one really likes hearing stutter, so therefore, she doesnt really have any friends. Does have one pet though, a female cat named Princess. (for more on t3h kitty, refer to unique aspects) Maya is a vegan (Im not really a vegan XD), but Princess only eats meat.
