This is a rare one few remember. The Young and Restless theme actually has lyrics. In the mid-70's for a brief period the song was played over the end credits once a week. This is from a 1975 episode.

This is a clip at the end of CSI MIAMI Season 7 Ep. 10 that aired Dec. 8, 2008 of RAYA MEDDINE. She is an awesome actress and I miss her as Sabrina from The Young and the Restless. I personally don't watch CSI MIAMI and only watched it to see Raya. I was not impressed with the writing of this episode, too much jumping around from scene to scene for my taste.
Greg Rikaart and Emily O'Brien (Kevin and Jana Fisher, THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS) guest-star. I self-titled the showcase, but it's an obvious fit. An introduction would have made the plot less random, but maybe that was intentional - still, it worked as a theme and was funny. If only Drew can keep doing this instead of the ones from 11/18...
