Magic will surely be in the air this holiday season! Connie Talbot, the acclaimed 8-year-old singing sensation, will star in her own one-hour Holiday Magic TV special. The concert was filmed at the WVIA PBS Studio in the High Definition theater in front of a live studio audience. The special will feature the young songbird's renditions of classic holiday tunes, including "Frosty the Snowman," "Ave Maria," "Silent Night" and "Walking In the Air." Connie, recently named child ambassador for the 2009 Marine's Toys For Tots campaign has pledged a portion of the proceeds from her album to the charity. Connie was only 6 year old when she won the hearts of the world by appearing on Britain's Got Talent starring Simon Cowell. It's from her debut album,"Over the Rainbow".Last year she reached the finals of "Britain's Got Talent". Unfortunately, she lost to Paul Potts, an opera singer. I remember the original song by Bob Marley in 1977. I think Connie did a beautiful job of singing the song.
