Tanushree Dutta (IPA: [t̪ənuʃri]ː ITRANS:tanushrI) (born 19 March 1985) is an Indian film actress and model. She won the Femina Miss India title in 2004.
Tanushree Dutta was born and raised in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand state (then Bihar), and did her graduation in communications in Pune, Maharashtra. She is a Bengali by birth.
She won the Femina Miss India title in 2004, and placed among the top ten in the Miss Universe 2004 pageant held in Quito, Ecuador.
She debuted in Bollywood in 2005. She worked on two films simultaneously Chocolate and Aashiq Banaya Apne. Chocolate was intended to be her debut film, however its release was preceded by Aashiq Banaya Apne.

36 China Town is a Bollywood film directed by Abbas-Mustan. The film is a murder mystery which stars Akshaye Khanna, Kareena Kapoor, Shahid Kapoor, Upen Patel and Isha Koppikar. The film was released in May 2006. It was considered a failure by critics who criticised it for its weak storyline and lack of suspense but it still managed to be moderately successful at the box office, partially due to the elements of comedy in the film. The film follows the investigation of a police officer (played by Akshaye Khanna) who has to find the killer of a wealthy casino owner Sonia Chang (Isha Koppikar).
