Jeff Demps received the injury at the end of the first quarter. It was during a three yard loss, in a first and goal, when he attempted to take a hand-off. As he was about to fall, he extended his left arm to break the fall. However, it did not work, and his whole arm twisted backwards. and he fell with his whole weight on his arm. He was taken off the field immediately. An X-ray showed that he had dislocated his elbow.
