Theodore Martin McGinley (born May 30, 1958) is an American actor. He is perhaps best known for his role as Jefferson D'Arcy on the television series Married... with Children, and as Charley Shanowski on the former ABC sitcom Hope & Faith.
<p>McGinley was born in Newport Beach, California. He is married to Gigi Rice and they have two children. He took Brooke Shields to her prom when she was 16 years old. In college he was a member of Sigma Chi Fraternity.
<p>Ted graduated Newport Harbor High School in 1976 and played water polo. Ted was slated to play on the US Olympic water polo team. Bruce Penhall of "Chips" TV fame also graduated Newport Harbor High 1975.
