Trailer: The Adventures of Pinocchio (1996)
Episode 1: The Puppet is Alive. Part 4 of 4. For future episodes I'm going to keep the breaks to 3 parts, the file splitter I'm using at the moment doesn't have many options so getting the video right was just the result of a good guess. Unfortunately the ending credits were cut out but this is still the very end of the episode.
Episode 1: The Puppet is Alive Part 3 of 4
More to come.

This is my first upload, so forgive me if it's crappy in anyway. ^^;; I ripped this from a DVD I just got, and I know people have been wanting to see this, so...
Henry the Otter takes inspiration from folktales such as Pinocchio and Petrushka that explore the relation between animate/inanimate through puppetry and fantasy. With a cinematic approach that borrows from the silent films of FW Murnau and DW Griffith, the film transplants these narratives into a temporally ambiguous New York City while following the adventures of a curious sea otter exploring the world of humans.
From 1960, an episode of the first series from Rankin-Bass (then known as Videocraft Productions). This was done using their "Animagic" stop-motion technique.
