Yeah this is a DARK ride my phone wouldn't pick it up. It is key for little things like the moment the ride stalled cause I'm guessing some little kid got scared and wanted off. Me and my sister made some comments during the ride that were kinda funny hearing but otherwise not a wonder video...but great ride.

Guests attending the special event were treated to a dinner show featuring Constance the bride, George (her groom), the hitchhiking ghosts, Madame Leota, and plenty of other characters. My mom got this for me today. Here's the description on the back of the case for the first track: "In 1969, this Disneyland Records Storyteller album was released to commemorate the opening of Haunted Mansion. Intended as a simple promotional album, this recording has become a cherished childhood memory for many Disneyland guests. 'The Story and Song from The Haunted Mansion' includes original scenes and effects that never made it into the final attraction as it follows the story of two teenagers (voiced by Robie Lester and a young Ron Howard) who take refuge inside the eerie mansion during a mysterious storm." I made this track into three parts (because it was so long). So, enjoy!
Welcome foolish mortals, to the Hidel Mansion! READ WHOLE DESCRIPTION! No, this ride is not a remake of "The Haunted Mansion". This ride is celebrating the 40th Anniversary of "The Haunted Mansion", and the 10th anniversary of "The Amazing Adventures of Spiderman", two very influential dark rides. This celebrates classic dark rides and technological, new dark rides alike. While this haunted mansion contains tons of high tech effects, it also has some classic stunts found in classic dark rides, aided with lighting effects, drive-wheel launching, and tons of animatronics.
Mom and I went to Disneyland to enjoy the Halloween decorations! I filmed a lot of the Haunted Mansion by request. The camera's all jiggly because I used my camcorder, which seems to be much more sensitive to movement, especially when zoomed in.
2003's "The Haunted Mansion", based off the rides of the same name at Disney theme parks was for the most part, a huge let-down to the ride's large fan-base. The film did indeed have good things in it, such as the lavish sets and an unreleased musical score by Mark Mancina. The Score was part his own; part Buddy Baker's "Grim Grinning Ghosts". While a soundtrack was released; "The Haunted Mansion - Haunted Hits", the content on the album consisted of nothing more then a bunch of lame covers of 80's horror-based pop tunes by unknown artists, and a re-release of Barenaked Laddie's cover of "Grim Grinning Ghosts" from a previous theme park-based record. The track called "Overture" consisted of a mix-&-mash of the score, running around 4 minutes at most; it lacked any notation of the "Grim Grinning Ghosts" theme, which was used throughout the film in a number of lush compositions. The full score found it's way into the public after a few extremely rare copies; made as a submission for a 2003 movie award ceremony nomination; were given out to fans in an auction. The copies sold for final bids around $500, and were highly sought after. The disc contains over 40 audio tracks. I manged to get a hold of a copy. The lush score is worth listening to, as it may give you second thoughts on this failure of a movie. This came out pretty good. The shot looking back at the empty hallway is there because it's one of my favorite sections of the Haunted Mansion, and, it was eerie to see it so very empty on a super-crowded Summer day. This footage is assembled from three different times through. I'm going to do a "Prankish Spirits" version as well. One of the times through the ride stopped numerous times, and there was an opportunity to get some pretty good shots of the ballroom. Shot with the Nikon D90 and Sigma 1.4 lens.
