Many 911 calls came into Codiac RCMP just after 9AM this morning for another Moose on the Loose in Kingswood Park in uptown Moncton. I spoke to a resident on Ashley Cres. and he told me that he had just spooked the moose from his back yard . The moose ran through a fence on Laurelle. I caught up to the Moose standing between two homes on Oakmore and before I could get a shot of it , the moose was on the run again . I flagged down a RCMP officer that was driving on Oakmore. 2 RCMP members got out to check behind the homes and the moose then took off south crossing Glencarin and into a patch of woodsby the water tower and newly constructed homes. I also spoke to a man that showed me damage to his truck from the last time a moose was in this area in 07 when it ran into the box of his truck. DNR was also called but like normal never showed up . It was just a young moose, but it was moving very fast compared to most times you see moose in the city . Kingswood Park is the same area where a Bull Moose in fall of 2007 ran through the neighborhood causing alot of damage to fences , vehicles , including a RCMP patrol car windshield . That moose was shot with a tranq gun and hauled off by the neck using a tow truck where it later died from its injuries .

A moose visited a shopping center in Konsgsvinger Town, southern Norway on Wednesday - leaving a trail of minor destruction. The moose was caught on CCTV running down the aisles of a supermarket. The moose was on his way out of the bakery, after visiting the flower shop. [Inger-Lise Moss, Floriss Flower shop Manager]: "And then the moose came running at full speed towards me, and I went, 'help!' And I shouted out to everybody, 'Help, there is a moose here!'" Bakery shop assistant, Martine Rodseth, says the moose had crushed the table but had left the newly-made sandwiches alone. [Martine Rodseth, Konsgsvinger Bakery Shop Assistant]: "I had lots of fresh baked goods here and I had just made sandwiches and Norwegian donuts and such, and then it came in and stepped on everything, and crushed the whole table." Manager of the Kiwi food store, Ingun Sorli, was caught off guard by the extraordinary visit. Staff seemed more bemused than upset by the damage caused by the surprise visitor.

Just before 4 PM this afternoon Codiac RCMP respond to a Moose on the Loose in Sunny Brae area of Moncton around Connolly Street, Ward, McLaughlin Drive. One woman told me it walked right past her window of the apartment building she lives in and she couldn't believe her eyes a Moose in her yard. The Moose had a short rest in the parking lot at 258 McLaughlin and then ran through the parking lot of MacArthur's Nurseries and once again got trapped behind the fence of the business. DNR was called but once again never showed , just like when a Bull Moose ran around Kingswood Park one Sunday causing alot of damage to vehicles and properties in the fall of 2007. RCMP ended up placing there vehicles around the very tired Moose and cut the fence hoping it would go into the small area of woods just off of Morton Ave near the UdeM campus. One of the RCMP Officers had a shotgun and one more attempt and the Moose walked through the opening that the Police had just cut in the fence and walked into the woods for a much needed rest around 5:15PM.
