After meeting an agent from Hollywood, Kermit the Frog decides to journey there to become famous and make millions of people happy. This is what all you Muppet fans wanted, and so here it is, part 1 of The Muppets Take Manhatten! The Muppets Take Manhatten is the third of several movies featuring the Muppets.It was also the first one to be solely directed by Frank Oz and was the last one released before Jim Henson's death. This is also one of two Muppet Movies not to be owned by Walt Disney Pictures (The other one being Muppets From Space). When it was released on July 13th, 1984, it was once more a box office success, but it wasn't as successful as The Muppet Movie and The Great Muppet Caper. However, it did get many positive reviews, and it is now today the fourth highest grossing Muppet Movie of all time behind its predecessors and Muppet Treasure Island. I do not own this movie.
