To keep things simple and preventing from a lot of moving pieces that could break down, they both use DigiTech GSP1101 preamp. The only thing different in Chris Broderick's rig is his guitar, he currently is using a Ibanez Prestige. While Broderick preferes the RG series, he's rolling with the Prestige because of the trem system.
