Number 38 finds me back to doing amvs! I'd started this little video a couple months ago, but got sidetracked what with job searching, working on CITY OF HEROES videos, and all that fun stuff. But here I go again, this time to FRUITS BASKET! My friend deanna got me started on this series, and I admit I was very hem-haw about watching it, but since I trusted her judgment (and the funimation voice cast was doing it), I thought I'd give it a try. I'm glad I did - I absolutely adored it from the getgo. (Note - though this video is about Tohru and Kyo, my favorite characters hands-down are Shigure and Hatori. Deal with it.) Styx has long since been one of my favorite bands, and the song "Love is the Ritual" seemed so perfect for this mismatched pairing that I just had to make it. (It was a tie between this and Van Halen's "Love Walks In," by the way. This marginally beat out LWI because deanna is also a diehard Styx fan.) This is VERY spoiler-heavy, so watch at your own risk!
