Since the official soundtrack for The Vampire Diaries doesn't come out until October 21st, the CW released the video piece which includes mostly passion-filled love scenes between the show's lovers, but some of the clips show danger, fighting and transormation. This track is performed by Sky Ferreira and written by Ryan Tedder, but the 18-song soundtrack will rock a bunch of cool artists including Bat for Lashes, Placebo, The Smashing Pumpkins and more. I gotta say that after watching the Obsession music video, I'm even more pumped for The Vampire Diaries soundtrack, but thankfully we have the new season 2 episodes in the meantime: every Thursday at 8/7p central on the CW. Hello ClevverTV watchers - I'm your host Joslyn Davis with a complete recap on the TV return of The Vampire Diaries. So did the show live up to all the hype with it's season two debut? I think the collective answer is a very enthusiastic yes. And if you ask me, a lot of the episode could be summed up in two little sentences. First up - Katherine is quite possibly the most evil thing to hit the CW network. And second - and something I thought I'd never say - Poor, poor Damon...well, sort of. So let's talk about what went down on the season premier. It picked up right where we left off in the finale of season 1. Katherine is back with an obvious vengeance, but what does she want? Well, judging from what we just saw, you can never be quite sure, although she seems to be saying that it's not what, but who she wants - and that's Stephan. Of course, he's not having any of it. But poor Damon, I think we saw the vulnerable side of him for the very first time when he begged her just tell him the truth. Katherine told Damon that she'd never loved him. It had always been Stephan. Of course in the same episode, K's doppelganger, Elena, also told Damon she'd never kiss him back, which propelled him to try to kill her brother Jeremy. You back at ClevverTV - thanks for joining us today. I'm your host Joslyn Davis. So who's ready for some Vampire Diaries? I know I am and I'm betting I'm not alone. Lucky for us a trailer for season 2 is now available, and giving us a little sneak peek at what's to come. The trailer opens with Elena calling 911, as her uncle lies bleeding on the floor. In the foreground though, hidden from Elena is noneother than Katherine. This becomes sort of a theme in the whole trailer - as we constantly go back and forth between Elena and Katherine. So many characters seem to get tricked by Katherine, including Bonnie, and John Gilbert. We also see Damon tell Stephan that he kissed Elena, which of course we already know isn't the case. Throughout the trailer there are several images of Katherine with both guys. Damon seems to be having a tough time with his feelings, while Katherine says that she came back specifically for Stephan. Another part of the plot this season that keeps getting overshadowed is the Jeremy drama! In the trailer Elena is overwhelmed with emotions trying to wake him up. The trailer tells fans to get ready for the year of the KAT, with a K of course. So are you guys ready or what? Hey guys, Joslyn Davis here and if you're as obsessed with Vampire Diaries as we are, you're gonna love this little season 2 update. Photos straight from the Atlanta set are serving up some insight into what we might be seeing when the show returns to TV in just a few weeks. Of course the big moment in the finale last season was the return of Katherine. And based on the set photos that were recently released, good old Stefan will be seen with both Elena and Katherine. The first pic, shows Stefan with Katherine in the woods. He is grabbing her arm, and you can't really tell whether or not its an angry or endearing gesture. Either way, we're loving the Katherine style choices - Nina Dobrev did tell us that Katherine's style would be very different than Elena's. Notice the skintight clothes and vampy hair here. The cast of Vampire Diaries made a pit-stop in San Diego for Comic Con and caused quite a stir. E! chatted it up with all three main characters and it's safe to say that we have a lot to look forward to in Season 2. So, as far as Damon is concerned, Ian Somerhalder says it's "not necessarily going to be the funnest" time for him.
