During our Sledgehammer Testing runs, I just had the impromptu idea to have Yebache book it to the 300 yard engagement point for some long range shooting...fun! Weapon: a Sabre Defense SPR AR-15 in TNP for testing. With bolt/bolt carrier swapout, the gun finally ran 100% and did prove to be deadly accurate in our shooting. I would expect nothing less from a $2000 AR-15. The barrel execution on this SD SPR is particularly excellent (fluted 18"). Scope is a 6-24 Weaver with a Mil-dot reticle riding in a (gasp) UTG #168S ring mount. Ammo was 55 gr PMC FMJ. After one miss and a little instruction, Mr Yebache connects 9 out of 10 times on the 300 yd Actiontarget Torso plate. Well done Y!

The Football players put together a dance for the kids at Thon 2010 and rocked it!
Tucker, age 9, performs "Boom Boom Pow" by the Black Eyed Peas for more than 15000 at the Penn State Dance Marathon (THON) in February 2010. Tucker was diagnosed with cancer at age 2 but has been cancer-free for nearly three years. THON is a 46-hour, no-sitting, no-sleeping dance marathon that benefits The Four Diamonds Fund, a pediatric cancer program at Penn State Hershey Children's Hospital. Behind Tucker are his adoptive organization's dancers, who were standing strong for 46 hours in support of Tucker and other families battling pediatric cancer. Dancing is a physical challenge, but it is nothing compared to the hardships that Four Diamonds families endure each day. Penn State students can't erase the hospital visits, the spinal taps or the chemo treatments, but they can give families something to look forward to and the assurance that they're not alone.
