Do you dislike - even hate - Windows Live Movie Maker? So do I! Would you like to have a timeline-based Movie Maker for Windows 7 anyway? Then fight back and download the best Movie Maker to date: Windows Movie Maker 6.0. This isn't the decrepit MM2.6 that was offered for low-end Vista machines. 2.6 is, in fact, a stripped version of xp's even older MM 2.1. WMM6, by contrast, is the upscale Vista movie maker, and has a full and intuitive timeline, extra effects and transitions, and useful HD options. Download the zipped folder (wmm6.zip) from my mediafire location: www.mediafire.com After unzipping the folder, copy the contents (3 files) to your desktop and follow the instructions. I've installed these files myself; they work really well and are 100% virus free. [WMM6 - like most video editing programs - can be demanding, so I would recommend the following **minimum** W7 configuration: dual-core; 2 gigs of RAM; and dedicated 256 mb video memory (separate video card with latest drivers is best).] If you're having trouble with sound and video, go to Tools-Options-Compatibility, and play with the different codecs. Here are the the Steps on how to reverse any video that you own using Windows Movie Maker... Step 1: Pick a video Step 2: Select the FRAME you want to start Reversing your video Step 3: Click the "Take Picture" Button in the bottom RIGHT corner of the display box Step 4: It will tell you to save it. Save it as "1" Step 5: Now go back one FRAME and take another picture but this time name it "2" (Do you see the pattern?) Step 6: Continue to follow these steps until you've gotten to the frame that you want to stop Reversing Step 7: Now put them on the timeline in Number order Step 8: Make each picture only 0.13 in length (The smaller the number the faster the reverse, the bigger the number the slower and "choppier" the Reverse becomes) Step 9: Enjoy the Awesome Action of Backwards Entertainment!!! The clip that I used was roughfly 2 seconds long and it took me about 1 1/2 minutes to finish the Reversing Process... So those longer videos will take a while but it's worth it in the end!
