Video created by 2lidia.(Thanks 2lidia) On February 18,2010, Mumbair Mirror published a story on Aishwarya Rai in which Mr. Bachchan himself said is "completely false, completely fabricated, unsubstantiated, insensitive and of the lowest quality of journalism there ever was." For those wondering what the story was it was speculation on Aishwarya Rai's health which was disrespectful and insensitive. I won't go further into it because its not deserving of it. Aishwarya Rai followed up with a written letter to Mumbai Mirror denying the story and demanding a re traction and a apology. So how do MM respond?! They only publish half of Aishwarya's letter and DO NOT offer an apology or retraction! Abhishek Bachchan has also written on his twitter account how angry and upset he is that the media can print such stories on his family. Below is only half of Aishwarya's statement since MM chose NOT to publish the rest of it. If you are as upset as many are please contact Times Of India (Owner)or Mumbai Mirror asking for them to retract and apologize for publishing such a story. Aishwarya's written statement published 2/18/09 Not true, says Ash Posted On Friday, February 19, 2010 at 02:31:51 AM I read your article 'Pregnant Pause' in your paper Mumbai Mirror on page 27 on February 18, 2010. I am completely shocked, appalled and extremely upset with the contents of the article. I completely deny the report. It is fabricated and false. It is very disappointing that your office did not ...
We demand a retraction and an apology from Mumbai Mirror to Aishwarya Rai Bachchan !! Enough is enough ! The story they wrote today on Aishwarya's heath was disgusting !!

The 2008 Mumbai attacks were more than ten coordinated shooting and bombing attacks across Mumbai, India's financial capital and its largest city. The attacks, which drew widespread condemnation across the world, began on 26 November 2008 and lasted until 29 November, killing at least 173 people and wounding at least 308. Eight of the attacks occurred in South Mumbai: at Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus, the Oberoi Trident, the Taj Mahal Palace & Tower, Leopold Cafe, Cama Hospital, the Orthodox Jewish-owned Nariman House, the Metro Cinema, and a lane behind the Times of India building and St. Xavier's College. There was also an explosion at the Mazagaon docks, in Mumbai's port area, and in a taxi at Vile Parle. By the early morning of 28 November, all sites except for the Taj Mahal Palace had been secured by Mumbai Police and security forces. An action by India's National Security Guards (NSG) on 29 November resulted in the death of the last remaining attackers at the Taj Mahal Palace, ending all fighting in the attacks. Ajmal Amir Kasab, the only attacker who was captured alive, disclosed that the attackers were members of Lashkar-e-Taiba, the Pakistan-based militant organization, considered a terrorist organization by India, the United States, and the United Kingdom, among others. The Indian Government said that the attackers came from Pakistan, and their controllers were in Pakistan. Kasab's trial began on 6 May. He pleaded not guilty and if convicted, faces the death ...

Hello, Im Charlotte Bellis, and youre watching Newsy.com www.newsy.com Pakistan responds to Indias dossier on the Mumbai terrorist attacks, five weeks after the dossier was submitted. Pakistan's top civilian security official admitted Thursday that some of the attackers have roots in Pakistan. Response to Pakistans admission has been mixed. Were following coverage from The Press Trust of India, The Times of India, NDTV, and GEO Pakistan. The Press Trust of India praises the admission, claiming it only occurred because of increased international pressure. India should take Pakistan's response as a "first step" in the process of eradicating terrorism from the country and continue to ask the international community to exert pressure on Islamabad to "come clean" on the issue. (PTI) In the same article, the Press Trust of India quotes a former Indian Foreign Secretary who has the perspective there is still much to be resolved. The Indian Home Affairs Minister backs that up in a statement made to the Times of India. He also adds, My initial response is that this is a positive development. The dossier that we handed over on the 5th of January was an exceptionally tightly argued document, even if I say so. It was a very potently argued document and no one could have ignored evidence there. We are happy that the initial response is positive, we have received the response. (Times of India) Prior to the announcement, Pakistan held firm to a claim that the Mumbai attacks were planned ...
12/20/08-- LaRouche: Ivanov Is Right That Mumbai Attack Was Narco-Terrorism December 19, 2008 (LPAC)--Lyndon LaRouche today praised Russia's federal anti-narcotics service director Viktor Ivanov, for singling out the Afghan heroin trade as the source of funding and logistics for the Nov. 26 Mumbai attacks. In a recent interview with the Russian state daily Rossiskaya Gazeta, Ivanov singled out Mumbai organized crime boss and narco-trafficker Dawood Ibrahim, for his role in providing the logistical support for the commando attack on the port city and financial capital of India. Ivanov described the Mumbai attack as "a burning example'' of how the illegal drug trafficking networks were used for terrorism. A report on the Ivanov comments, and on a new Russian-Indian joint initiative against narco-terrorism, published Dec. 18 in the Times of India, noted that the Russian government ``believes that Dawood's drug network, which runs through Afghanistan, was used to finance the terror attack.'' LaRouche commented, "I can fully corroborate the charges by Mr. Ivanov, linking the massive opium and heroin trade out of Afghanistan to the Mumbai attackers. I have additionally received reports from highly-placed US intelligence officials, that the Mumbai assault teams were given at least two years of advanced special warfare training, prior to the attack. The caliber of the training, and the asymmetric military character of the attacks represents a threat, greater than the 9/11 attacks ...

Nyway very special thanx to Yaseen... well wat shud i say... she helped me make the video cauz i was lazy... lol. This is the truth about the Mumbai attacks. Download this video and upload it on your profile to tell the world the truth about the Mumbai incident. Anyway fact is the attack WAS NOT committed by any Pakistani nor by Jamat Ud Dawa which is a godamn Pakistani charity. There is sufficient proof in this regard. The facts that tell the World the truth about what really happened into simple terms are these: 1) Pakistan and Bangladesh with the support of ISI have been blamed numerous times for attacks in India. Can it really be true that no attack takes place without Pakistan being blamed in a country that makes 1/5th of the World Population and which is known for inter religious violence? 2) The terrorists were talking in Hindi their speaking style their interviews with the media proved they were from Hyderabad as was stated by them. (This is confirmed by many Hyderabadis) 3) Hemant Karkare had implicated Purohit and a number of Indian hindu terrorist generals for the attacks and stated that some BJP leaders could be responsible for the attacks. That is why he was killed within the first 10 minutes of the attack. Several BJP leaders have said that "he got what he deserved" and some fanatic hindu ...
(December 11, 2008) After 181 people were killed in the Mumbai terrorist attacks, fingers immediately pointed at Pakistan. But, Pakistan says they are victims of terrorism too. While the terrorists may have arrived from Karachi, part of the motivation to attack India stems from long-simmering tensions in Kashmir. Pakistani authorities have reportedly imposed restrictions on the movement of Jaish-e-Mohammed founder Maulana Masood Azhar and confined him to his home despite turning down India's demand for handing him over. Azhar, who was freed by Indian authorities along with two other terrorists in exchange for passengers of an Indian Airlines flight hijacked from Kathmandu to Kandahar in 1999, has been confined to his multi-storey building in Model Town area of Bahawalpur, The News daily reported on Tuesday. The report quoted official sources as saying that Azhar's activities had been restricted in the wake of India's demand to hand him over along with criminals Dawood Ibrahim and Tiger Memon. There was no official word on whether Azhar had been restricted to his home. The Pakistan Army on Monday confirmed it had launched an operation against banned militant groups.
Bollywood legend Shah Rukh Khan said the extremists who attacked Mumbai were un-Islamic, as his fellow Muslim actors announced they would not celebrate an upcoming religious festival. "There's nothing Islamic about terrorism. I am a Muslim, I read the Koran, but nowhere in the holy text does it say you can get 'jannat' (paradise) from 'jihad'," he was quoted as saying by the Sunday Times of India. Khan, 43, is one of a number of Muslims who dominate Bollywood, where unlike some other walks of life in Hindu-majority India, religion is no bar to fame and fortune. The actor, whose wife is Hindu, is currently working on a new film -- "My Name is Khan" -- exploring Islam in the post-9/11 world and the misconception that all Muslims are extremists. India has accused a Pakistan-based Islamist group, Lashkar-e-Taiba, of being behind the November 26-29 attacks, which left 163 civilians and security personnel dead. Islamabad is demanding concrete proof of their involvement. Khan -- who was in Malaysia at the weekend to receive a special award -- told The Hindustan Times in an interview that Pakistan was "living in denial... let us accept the truth that these guys (extremists) are being trained there." Mumbai's Muslim minority, fearing reprisals, have said they will conduct only low-key celebrations for the upcoming Eid-al-Adha festival, which marks the prophet Ibrahim's obedience to God with the ritual slaughter of animals. Film stars including leading actress Katrina Kaif and ...

Terrorists targeting US and British tourists struck Mumbai's iconic Taj Mahal Palace and Tower, a hotel favored by visiting royalty, rock stars and tycoons since it was built by Jamsetji N. Tata, founder of Tata Group, in 1903. Gunmen armed with rifles and grenades stormed the century- old building in India's biggest terrorist attack against foreign tourists, taking hostages and burning rooms that once accommodated the likes of Mick Jagger, Jacqueline Onassis, Yehudi Menuhin and Prince Charles, according to Tata Group's Web site. A black-and-white photo on the site recalls the time the Beatles' George Harrison checked in under an assumed name to study the sitar under Ravi Shankar. The hotel was a key target in coordinated attacks overnight across Mumbai that killed at least 101 people and injured 287. Gunmen armed with rifles and grenades stormed the Taj, Oberoi and Trident hotels. About 40 people are being held hostage at the hotels, the Press Trust of India reported. ``The attacks in Mumbai are going after the country's tourism industry, spreading fear to Western tourists and businesspeople,'' Reva Bhalla, director of geopolitical analysis at Stratfor, a private intelligence company based in Austin, Texas, wrote in an e-mail. As smoke billowed from the 565-room Taj, emergency services evacuated some guests via ladders. Firefighters worked to control a blaze at the hotel, which houses antiques and artworks collected over more than a century. The $6000-a-night Grand ...
