1. How did you guys come up with the song, "Yeah 3x"? I was working late one night in the studio when I got a call from my manager. Chris was working in the studio down the street and wanted to me to come down and listen to some tracks. I walked in, met Chris for the first time, and played him 1 track. He sat there for 4 minutes listening, then said, "Ok, I'm ready." He jumped in the booth and wrote the whole thing on the spot. 2. Who wrote it? Chris did and he wrote it in about 15 minutes. I didn't realize that he wrote so much until then. I was really impressed. 3. Is the song from Chris' forthcoming album? Chris told me he has two songs in mind for the singles for his album -- "Yeah 3x" is the pop/rhythmic/crossover single, and he has one more that leans more urban. 4. Will there be a music video? While we were working on the song, he described to me in detail his vision for the song, the music video, everything... he's talented beyond belief and has a vision for his work. 5. Will you and Chris be working together again? We have plans to work again soon in LA. Chris is great to work with because he works fast and off immediate inspiration. Got together with a few friends and invaded the downtown area of Bothell, Washington in fursuit. It's really a neat little area with a few blocks of strip-mall type stores and a real at-home community feel. It was a blast to get out there and our reception was great! One of the great things about walking around downtown Bothell is the number of props to mess around with, from hand-painted wood carvings that look like people to rocks that have very furry-looking plaques on them. We put quite a few smiles on people's faces that afternoon and got more than a few quizzical looks and car horns alike but it was great to spread some furry cheer on what was a fairly gloomy and rainy day. I wrote most of these riffs over a year ago, but I finally pieced together a complete song over the past few months. I think vocals would fit very nicely over this song, but I decided to keep it an instrumental for now. I left it short and sweet to keep your attention. I put a solo in place of the second verse of the song. The recording process was a learning experience for me. This is the first time I used a full-fledged DAW software (REAPER), and I took some tips from RedSGShredder for creating my drum tracks (check him out—he is awesome! www.youtube.com ). I'm not a drummer, so please don't expect anything great on the drum track. PetrucciFever gave me much-needed motivation to get started on some of my original material, so I owe a big thanks to him. He's holding Bonnie, Vienna and Gay Henry hostage and it's his fault that Paul dug that hole. This is only the second time I've uploaded an entire episode. The first time was Luke's misadventures in Branson with Jade, Will, Gwen, Maddie .... and Noah. It's where Maddie and Noah had sex, allowing Luke to see his future boyfriend naked when he walked in on them. Luke had the most adorable grin when Noah's towel accidentally dropped. Sadly, Luke has never seen Noah naked again (as far as I know ... then again, they may have changed or showered together at the gym).
